Swinger followed a perfect 2-0 week in Week 15 with a sizzling 5-0 ATS record last week! The man is on an official heater so jump on and tail our veteran capper in his Week 17 NFL picks!

2015 NFL Record (26-28-1 ATS)
Last week everything went according to plan and thank the lord almighty that all this time, dedication and endless research finally paid off in our NFL picks over the last few weeks. In Week 16 yours truly had the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, double digit underdogs Ravens and Rams as well as over the posted total in the Lions/49'ers tilt. It's a bee-u-ta-full thing when the moon and stars align yet it is absurd for me to crow about much considering I have a season long record that is still below .500. Time to get over the break even mark in the final week of the regular season and look forward to a white hot postseason run. Let's go!

Jets vs. Bills
The Jets will come into this one flat as a board after defeating their nemesis, the golden boys of the division, the rich kids who always get their way - the New England Patriots. No question about it and they will find that the heat they were able to put on Brady with a beat up, patchwork offensive line will be nothing like the one they face with the Bills. Tyrod Taylor can also move around and get to the edge while Buffalo's best receiver will be the favorite in the Sammy Watkins/ Revis Island matchup. Revis has demonstrated that he is till among the elite cornerbacks but no longer the shutdown defensive back of old.

Buffalo's defense is playing much better so forget about being one of the sheeple that will bet the Jets because it's a must win for them. That is one of the most overblown scenarios in sports gambling. The Bills already beat this team 22-17 a little over a month ago and wasn't it this same New York Jets team that barely got past the woeful Dallas Cowboys in Week 15? Grab the points that the NFL odds makers are giving this home team in a market driven by tons of square play.

Raiders vs. Chiefs
Go low my babies. Yes, this one will be a grinder and if you don't believe me just look at the offensive yards that the Chiefs have been getting over the last several weeks. Kansas City has gained an average of 274 combined yards over the past month and been winning in spite of it because their defense is coming up big. Over the past seven weeks the Chiefs have allowed only 12 ½ points per game and now they welcome the Raiders to town who are dealing with an ailing Amari Cooper who just happens to be Derek Carr's favorite binky. The Raiders don't do well against premier defenses as evidenced by their 14 points against Minnesota, 15 against Denver and they were even held to 13 points against the Lions. Oakland has not scored more than 24 points over the last seven weeks and they won't come close to that against this tenacious Kansas City defense.

The Woodman’s Corner (12-4 ATS)
The Woodman should be causing me to get plenty of extra hits on this weekly column because he has been en fuego all season long. You often read about these scamdicappers claiming NFL ATS records of 70 percent or better only to find out they are giving out both sides to each game to guarantee that one group of suckers, er - subscribers, gets a winning play. But here you have a living, breathing NFL savant that is literally clicking at 75 percent with no bulls**t. If you don't believe me go to the end of this column, find my name, click on it and review my articles where you will find 16 previous itineration's of Swinger's NFL picks and the Woodman's documented winning weeks.

Last week we were both squarely on a big dog in the Rams traveling to Seattle where they not only covered as double digit dogs but won the game outright! Which of you fearless readers bet St. Lou on the money line? Well in the regular season finale the Woodman has another pup for all of you dog lovers and this time it is the Washington Redskins +3½.
