The big game is getting closer by the minute, so what kind of team props do we have in store for you to help you diversify your Super Bowl betting portfolio? Check out which selections we are adding to our NFL picks in this year's big game.

I have props from two separate sportsbooks for you. The ones listed with explanations are my best bets, followed by some I also like below that. Each of my NFL picks will be highlighted in bold.

First Points

Let’s start off with the first score of the game, which is juicing -140 if you pick a touchdown, and +110 on any other type of score. I’m thinking the first score might be a field goal. I’m going to get into the other side of this in some of my other props below, but this is kind of an insurance bet. These two teams’ defenses will be fired up beyond belief, and a field goal at +110 seems like great value to start.

First Turnover

Speaking of hard-hitting defenses, the NFL odds for the first turnover of the game sit at -160 for an interception, and +130 for a fumble. I think this is one of my best props of the day. I love the fumble as the first turnover. There are going to be a lot of hard hits in this game from both teams, and both will try and establish their run games, leading to more chances at a fumble early on. Take +130 for a fumble as the first turnover

Lead Changes

Moving on to the 2nd half, where if there is a lead change, you can bet there will be at +170, or that there won’t be at -250. Between these two teams, the game will be close. The spread is only 3 ½ points, and the chances for a lead change with these two offenses is very likely. This is another one I’m all over this weekend, so take the yes at +170

You can also bet on when the first score of the game will take place, anywhere from the first 30 seconds of the game, to the back end of the 1st quarter. For me, the one that stood out the most is will these two teams score in the first 11 minutes of the game. Defense might rule for the entire first half, but if the score is 0-0 by the 4-minute mark in the first quarter, +350 will be the prize for that bet, while saying there will be a score is -500.

First Ravens' Score

My final big prop bet is the Ravens’ first score. Jacoby Jones has been a monster in the playoffs, and while the 49ers have a great secondary, all Jones needs is an ally. If the Ravens first score is a defensive or special teams touchdown, you can get +750 for it. The 49ers defense will be tough to score on in the first half for the Ravens, but their defense or special teams scoring is likely in the early going. Take a defensive or special teams TD for +750.
