Sunday is almost here and the NFL Odds are getting very intriguing as the week progresses. Week 3 of the NFL has some value, and I have identified a couple of NFL picks you need to add to your tickets.

Falcons vs. Dolphins

It seems the Falcons are becoming bigger underdogs by the minute in this game, but you can still find the Dolphins as slight -1 favorites in the NFL Odds, and I think we have to jump on that in a hurry. However the NFL Odds are far from settling here on Friday. The Falcons will be without Steven Jackson in this game after he injured his thigh last week, and Roddy White is still not healthy, and he has received only a handful of targets through two weeks. Atlanta also lost a couple of key members of their defense this past week, including star WLB, Sean Witherspoon. Before the season Atlanta’s defense wasn’t very good, and now it’s looking really bad. Miami should be able to take advantage early.

The Dolphins on the other hand are 2-0 SU this season and are looking better by the week. Last week Mike Wallace and Lamar Miller showed up to play, and they were a big reason why the Fins went into Indianapolis and won. Both will be relied on heavily this week as well. With that defense coming back home against a banged up Falcons, I think the Dolphins can win this game easier than some are projecting. Atlanta is only 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 road games, and the Dolphins have the firepower on both sides of the ball to knock out Atlanta.

My Pick: Dolphins -1 @ The Greek

Packers vs. Bengals

Green Bay is another one of my best bets heading into Sunday of Week 3. The Packers looked outstanding last week, blowing away the Redskins early in the game. Aaron Rodgers had one of his better passing performances of his career, and even though the Cincinnati defense is much better than the Skins’, the Bengals are having some major injury concerns in this game, and I think they will be the difference between the Packers and Bengals.

Both starting corners for the Bengals, Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones, and Dre Kirkpatrick are both dealing with different injuries this week. Jones practiced in limited fashion yesterday, so it seems as if he will play, but as of Thursday, (no Friday report just yet) Kirkpatrick (the better and younger of the two) was not practicing.

With both of these guys far from 100%, I think Rodgers is going to have another banner day passing the ball. Without those two very good cornerbacks at 100%, I don’t think the Bengals stand a chance. Historically, the Bengals have not been good against Green Bay, even at home. Although it would be close if the entire Bengals’ defense were healthy, with the potential of not having their corners up to speed, it might be a long day in Cincinnati. The Bengals don’t yet have the firepower to get in a heavy weight shootout with the Packers. If Green Bay gets a lead early, it’s goodnight, Ohio.

My Pick: Packers -2 ½ @ bet365
