Jason was on Philadelphia at minus one and the Cowboys (-5.5) as favorites and then took three underdogs in Jacksonville (+27), Oakland (+9), and New Orleans (+1).
In the end, he finished with a respectable 3-2 record, with the Eagles, Cowboys and Jaguars easily cashing. The Raiders couldn't handle Kansas City's swarming defense, while the Saints lost on a last-second Tom Brady touchdown pass at Foxborough.
ATS Record: 15-14-1
For Week 6, Joe recommended the Browns (+2.5) on the spread and then the ‘Under’ in Pittsburgh/New York and the ‘Over’ in Carolina/Minnesota.
Though Joe's ATS NFL pick didn't come through, he was a perfect two-for-two with his total plays, as defense ruled the day in the Jets/Steelers game and the Panthers took care of the offense themselves in their big win in Minnesota.
ATS Record: 3-4-2
With his only ATS selection of the week, David opted to take Indianapolis as short road favorites. It ended up being a bad spot for the Colts though and they fell to the resurgent Chargers by 10 points.
ATS Record: 3-6-1 (MNF pending)
Certainly a week to forget for yours truly. I was on the Packers (-2.5), Seahawks (13-5), and the ‘Under’ in Buffalo/Cincinnati, and obviously none of those ended up on the winning side.
That being said, the Green Bay loss was probably a winner for a lot of you who waited and got a better line, as some sports betting shops had the Packers favored by a single point. Nonetheless, let's move on to next week and try and bounce back quickly.
ATS Record: 2-3
Doug thought the 49ers would come out and take care of Arizona by double digits and he was correct. Vernon Davis had a monster day and San Francisco closed with a 32-20 win at home.
ATS Record: 5-5
The NFL odds indicated it was a great situation for the Texans to get back on track, at home against a seemingly inferior team in St. Louis. Clearly that didn't happen though in what was one of the most embarrassing losses you'll see all season.
