The Broncos are one of the biggest favorite NFL Odds of Week 8, along with San Francisco (-17) at Jacksonville, New Orleans (-13) vs. Buffalo, and Green Bay (-10.5) at Minnesota. Denver is favored by 12 to 13 points at the sportsbooks.
The OVER has gone a perfect 7-0 in the Broncos' games this season, so it's no wonder the O/U is as high as 58.5. We could very easily see another shootout this weekend.
In one of the most entertaining games of the weekend, the Redskins emerged as 45-41 victors at home over Chicago.
We quickly found out why Washington was favored over Chicago, as Robert Griffin III had no troubles moving the ball. He had one of his most productive days of the season, completing 18-of-29 attempts for 298 yards and two passing touchdowns, while running for 84 yards on 11 carries.
Alfred Morris ran hard, recording 19 attempts for 95 yards, and Roy Helu Jr. came up with 41 yards and three short touchdown runs in the victory.
In the passing game, Jordan Reed continued to light it out, catching nine passes for 134 yards and a touchdown, while Aldrick Robinson had two receptions for 75 yards and the other score.
Seeing RGIII get back to his antics of old has to be incredibly exciting for Washington fans. He's getting more and more comfortable out there and the Redskins offense has taken on new life because of it. But, are they explosive enough to keep up with the Broncos?

All good things have to come to an end.
That was the case for the Broncos last week as they fell to Indianapolis on Sunday Night Football. John Fox's team was favored by a touchdown by oddsmakers but the Denver defense just could not stop Andrew Luck in the loss.
The Broncos did at least make things interesting after going down 36-17, scoring 13 straight points to pull within six. However, it just wasn't to be, as a fumble in the fourth quarter ended up being the killer blow.
Despite losing, Peyton Manning had another big statistical day. He was 29-of-49 for 386 yards and three touchdowns, while he also threw an interception, only his third of the season. Eric Decker, Wes Welker, and Demaryius Thomas all had at least 82 yards receiving apiece, with Decker and Thomas reaching paydirt. Knowshon Moreno had 49 total yards and one score in the road loss.
Denver has now failed to cover in three straight weeks, making them 3-3-1 ATS overall for the season. Find out below why we believe they'll get back on track with a straight up and spread win against Washington.
Week 8 Pick
Yes, the Redskins have been playing better recently, but this is a great spot for the Broncos to bounce back and win by a comfortable margin at home.
Now that the pressures of an undefeated season are gone, Denver can focus on the task at hand, and that shouldn't be an issue against Washington's porous defense. The Redskins are ranked #25 in total defense heading into Week 8.
However you want to look at it, we have more faith in backing Denver than Washington this Sunday for our NFL Pick. The Broncos' offense is far more explosive than that of the Redskins, so lay the chalk and side with Peyton and company.
