NFL Week 9 Player Props
It’s Week 9 and my player props are ripe from the betting odds boards.
DeMarco Murray has been a disappointment for Cowboys fans. After showing some nice potential, Murray has been injured and underperforming ever since his breakout rookie campaign. However this week, he is back healthy as the Cowboys play the inept Vikings, and the NFL Odds for Murray to score a TD today are at -110. I think there is value enough with this prop, and I see Murray finding the end zone today.
The Vikings have given up 10 touchdowns to opposing running backs already this season, and with their offense in shambles, I see the Cowboys getting plenty of opportunities on offense today. As long as Murray is, and stays healthy through the entire game (something that has come under question with Murray before) I think his odds of getting pay dirt are high here. The Vikings are giving up 114 yards per game on the ground, and Murray should be able to do damage here.
My Pick: DeMarco Murray TD Scored (-110)
Shonn Greene was one of the under the radar signings this offseason, and so far for the Titans, he has been hurt and/or ineffective. However head coach Mike Munchak came out recently and said he wants to get Greene more involved in the offense due to Chris Johnson’s struggles, and the goal line is the best place to do that.
Greene is a great goal line back, and now that he is healthy, I expect plenty of carries for him in this game. The Titans are on the road against the Rams, one of the worst run defenses in the entire NFL this season, and with Jake Locker back under center for the Titans, I think Tennessee’s offense is going to have no problems moving the ball here for our NFL picks.
The Rams have given up eight touchdowns to opposing running backs so far this season, and with no better option in the red zone, I see Greene getting all of the work inside the 20s in this game. Take Greene to score Sunday.

My Pick: Shonn Greene TD Scored (+160)
Martellues Bennett is a long shot this week on Monday night, however at +220 to score a TD, I think there is value enough to take a bite. Even with Jay Cutler not starting this game for the Bears, Josh McCown should use his tight end a lot in this game against the Packers.
Green Bay has already given up five touchdowns in seven games to opposing tight ends this season, and they have given up more yards and catches to the tight end than almost every other team this season expect for the Cardinals and Cowboys.
Bennett has already become one of the Bears’ best options in the red zone, and if the Packers sell out to stop Brandon Marshall down there, I think Bennett could be the next best option. With all of the injuries to Green Bay’s linebackers, and with the outrageously good NFL Odds we have for Bennett here, I am taking a chance with the Bears’ tight end on Monday night. The Packers simply don’t have anyone left to cover the black unicorn.
My Pick: Martellus Bennett TD Scored (+220)
