Sunday’s NFL betting has Marvin Lewis’ Bengals remaining at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati to face the Green Bay Packers.

The Cincinnati Bengals notched a 20-10 victory in Monday’s triumph over the Pittsburgh Steelers, cashing as seven-point home favorites. What do these teams have in store for our Week 3 NFL picks?

Bengals Hold On at Home

Bengals running back Giovani Bernard notched a pair of touchdowns as part of Monday’s win, including a 27-yard reception out of the backfield. Bernard’s mate BenJarvus Green-Ellis dashed for 75 yards on 22 carries, while the Bengals’ defense held Pittsburgh scoreless in the second half.

Cincinnati’s Andy Dalton completed 25-of-45 passes for 280 yards through the air, with favorite targets Jermaine Gresham and A.J. Green uniting for six catches each. Bengals placekicker Mike Nugent hit 2-of-2 field goals, while Cincinnati marched for 22 first downs in its 36 minutes of possession.

Cincinnati held the Steelers to 44 rushing yards, while Bengals safety Reggie Nelson logged his side’s sole interception. Nelson and Co. allowed Pittsburgh inside the red zone on just one occasion, while the battle’s combined 30 points dipped ‘Under’ the total of 40.

Packers Cruise by Redskins

Green Bay picked up its first win in last weekend’s 38-20 triumph over the Washington Redskins, cashing as a nine-point home favorite. The Packers jumped out to a 31-0 lead by the matchup’s third quarter, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers tossing four touchdowns in that stretch.

Rodgers finished with 480 passing yards, connecting 34-of-42 attempts. Green Bay’s James Jones and Randall Cobb united for 20 catches, while running back James Starks rushed for 132 yards on 20 carries.

The Packers’ defense gave up 422 total yards, allowing three late touchdowns from a trio of Redskins’ red zone drives. Green Bay’s offensive line surrendered four sacks, while the affair’s 58 points flew ‘Over’ the ‘total’ of 48.5.

 Back the ‘Under’ in Cincy

Early NFL odds opened Green Bay as a two-point road favorite, while early wagers on the Packers lifted the number to 2.5. The ‘total’ was first set at 48.5, holding steady with mixed initial betting.

I am adding the ‘Under’ in this duel to Sunday’s card of sports picks, looking for a tight affair.

Cincinnati has held foes to 17 PPG over its first two weeks of action, while the ‘Under’ moved to 5-0 in the team’s last five home dates with Monday’s win. The Bengals have seen the ‘Under’ cash at 9-1 in its last 10 spots that followed a victory, while ranking seventh in yards allowed (300.5 YPG).

Green Bay has played some blazing affairs to start its year, but could see its octane taper off here. The Packers saw one of their two lowest scoring efforts of last year come in the team’s infamous Week 3 trip to Seattle, coming away with just 12 points after notching 22.5 PPG prior to that.

Cincinnati had a ‘total’ listed of 45 or higher as part of nine spots last year, with the ‘Under’ cashing at 7-2. Look for ‘Under’ backers to get the money again here, with the contest’s points finishing south of the odds makers’ high number.
