New England continues to roll as one of 3 unbeaten teams after beating Washington. They head out on Sunday to face their Super Bowl nemesis, the N.Y. Giants, who lead the NFC East at 5-4.

The Patriots have been 7.5-point favorites on the road since the NFL odds came out for this game, and that sounds about right. New England has been putting teams to bed early, and you get the feeling that they could have run it up against Washington, but they took their foot off the gas. The Giants beat Tampa Bay handily, but that is Tampa Bay. Only Oakland has a worse pass defense than the Giants, who have to face Tom Brady, who is probably the favorite for the MVP right now. Brady has 22 touchdowns with two interceptions and that is bad news for the Giants' secondary. However, the Patriots are 16th against the pass and Eli Manning has thrown eight touchdowns in his last two games. Of course, six of those came in a loss to New Orleans, but still, when he is rolling, Manning can put up numbers and we all know his history against the Patriots.

The Patriots lost RB Dion Lewis for the season with a knee injury and while that position has usually been a plug-and-play for New England, Lewis was their most dynamic option. G Tre Jackson (knee), T Marcus Cannon (toe) and T Sebastian Vollmer (concussion) didn't practice on Wednesday, which could be trouble. The Giants' pass rush got a boost with the return of Jason Pierre-Paul and if they can pressure Brady without blitzing, they have a shot at the upset.

For the Giants, DL Johnathan Hankins is gone for the season with a pectoral injury, while TE Larry Donnell has a bad neck and is unlikely to play this week. CB Prince Amukamara didn't return from his pectoral injury, but he could practice this week.

The Patriots are 5-1-2 ATS so far this season, and they're 2-1 ATS on the road. The Giants are a solid 5-3-1 ATS, while going 2-2 ATS. The total is a high one at 55, and the Patriots have gone over in half of their games, while the Giants have gone over six times.

The Giants are 5-4 SU and 7-2 ATS in nine meetings with New England, including three SU wins and two of those were Super Bowls. In New York (technically New Jersey), the Patriots are 2-1 SU and 0-3 ATS.
