Falcons vs. Panthers
What a miserable season for Atlanta so far. There's a good chance their misery will be compounded when they visit Carolina this Sunday, with oddsmakers listing the Panthers as 7 to 9.5 point favorites at the NFL betting sites.
Many think the Cowboys are going to bounce back after losing a close one in Detroit last week, but Doug Upstone isn't one of those people. He thinks it's too many points and is on Minnesota to cover.
Pick: Vikings +10
On the surface, this seems to be a matchup the Saints should win easily. However, nothing is ever easy when it comes to the NFL and David Lawrence believes the Jets will be able to cover as dogs.
Pick: Jets +5.5
Hardly the most enthralling game here. Both the Rams and Titans have been struggling, especially when it comes to the offensive side of the ball. With that said, Willie Bee is selecting the UNDER with his NFL picks.
Pick: UNDER 39.5
The Chiefs have still yet to lose a game this season, making them the only undefeated team left in the NFL. Steve Merril, however, sees value in the home team in this spot and is siding with the Bills.
Pick: Bills +3.5
Coming off a BYE, the Chargers will try for another win on the East Coast when they do battle with Robert Griffin III and the Redskins. With his sports picks, Doug Upstone has opted to make a play on San Diego.
Pick: Chargers PK
Joe Freda has been making tons of plays on totals throughout the regular season and he's doing the same in Week 9. He's looking for more of a low-scoring game here and picking the UNDER 45.
Pick: UNDER 45
So it would take some kind of miracle for the win-less Buccaneers to go into CenturyLink Field and beat the Seahawks. Still, this is a lot of points to give up, so Nila Amerova is liking Tampa Bay to cash.
Pick: Buccaneers +16.5 (and UNDER 40)
The Ravens are coming off their BYE week, so they'll fancy their chances against the Browns, regardless of the fact they'll be on the road. However, Joe Freda thinks the dogs will bark and is on Cleveland's side.
Pick: Browns +2.5
Two Super Bowl champion quarterbacks square off this weekend and the NFL odds have the Patriots favored at home. Swingin' Johnson is laying the chalk and backing New England to win by more than a touchdown.
Pick: Patriots -7
Case Keenum is the new starter in Houston and he gets his first taste of home cooking against the Colts. Jason Lake doesn't think Indianapolis will be intimidated and is forecasting a Colts win in this division battle.
Pick: Colts -1.5
Josh McCown is the starting quarterback with Jay Cutler down and out, and he faces a tough challenge in keeping up with Aaron Rodgers. Jordan thinks McCown will do enough and will be selecting Chicago as big-time underdogs.
Pick: Bears +11
