As we continue Week 4 of the NFL regular season, there are an unusual amount of teams that are 0-3. This is compounded by the fact that more was expected from these particular teams. Is there still a winning dollar to be placed on these teams? Read on to find out.

Let’s see how this comes into play with as we take a look at the NFL odds and provide this week’s Sunday NFL betting parlay pick.

New York Giants (0-3) at Kansas City Chiefs (0-3)

Non-Existent Running Game

After a 38-0 loss to Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers, the New York Giants have their backs against the wall and many people are questioning head coach Tom Coughlin. Two-time NFL Super MVP Eli Manning has made a lot of mistakes with 8 interceptions on the season already and the running game has been the Giants downfall. Can New York bounce back against a Kansas Chiefs team that has surpassed expectations?

A good NFL team needs a balanced running and passing attack and after 3 weeks, the Giants leading rusher is David Wilson with 39 yards. No, that’s not a typo, folks. Wilson has been unable to hold onto the ball and Brandon Jacobs hasn’t been the same player that he was the last time that he played with New York. Look for the running game to improve; it couldn’t get any worse.

Nothing Flashy

If you remember, Alex Smith lost his job in San Francisco because of an injury and it was thought that he couldn’t make the big play like Colin Kaepernick. Smith was having a great season before the injury and thus far has led the Chiefs to a perfect 3-0. This is a quarterback that makes very few mistakes and that’s enabled the Chiefs to flourish along with the leadership of head coach Andy Reid.

The key to this game for New York is the running game. The Chiefs are just 25th against the run and 5th in the league against the pass. Expect the Giants to snap out of their funk in today's NFL betting.

Washington Redskins (0-3) at Oakland Raiders (1-2)

Redskins Need a Win

A lot of people have been questioning Robert Griffin III’s durability this season after he was injured in the playoffs last year. They’ve also questioned his relationship with head coach Mike Shanahan. The passing numbers have been there this season for RGIII as he’s thrown for nearly 1000 yards, but it hasn’t translated into victories.

Washington’s defense has killed them as they rank 31st in rushing and passing yards given up. The defense needs to tighten up or this will be a long season for the 'Skins.

Who Starting?

There’s been conflicting reports on the status of quarterback Terrelle Pryor. One report said that Matt Flynn would start, but the latest report by the San Francisco Chronicle said that Pryor would start and that he passed his concussion test. At this point, we really don’t know.

If Flynn starts, expect to see a lot more passing and less of running back Darren McFadden. Flynn has shown glimpses of greatness in the past, but has never been able to get ahold of an NFL starting quarterback job. Pryor has been a pleasant surprise for the Raiders, coming off of the tattoo scandal at Ohio State. He can run the ball and has been surprisingly accurate.

Along with his ability to hook up with wide receiver Denarius Moore, Pryor has rushed for 198 yards on 7.6 yards per carry. Whether Pryor or Flynn is behind center, this game will come down to the Washington defense. For your sports picks, look for the Skins to play well against a team that has a backup QB and a starter recovering from a concussion.
