Here are the four best picks from the NFC regarding the Season Wins Total Futures. Let's gear up and and hit this new season hard!

I have given my NFL Picks on all 32 teams’ season win totals, but there are four from each conference that are particularly intriguing to me. The NFL Odds are in our favor with the following four NFC teams.

New York Giants (9)

New York isn’t getting a lot of positive attention this offseason, but if they have all of their pieces in place, this team is going to be very good this season. There are a lot of great teams in the NFC, but the Giants have the easiest ride in their divisional games, and if their defense can get hot at the right times, I think the Giants are a 10-win team this season. Their schedule isn’t easy, especially at the beginning of the season when they play three of their first four games on the road, and that one home game is against the Broncos. Even though there will be bumps along the way, an 11-5 SU season is within the cards for the Giants.

My Pick: ‘Over’ 9 +100

Detroit Lions (7 ½)

The Lions are one of my best offseason bets in the NFL Odds, and I think the ‘Under’ is a great value. Detroit still doesn’t have another option to go across from Calvin Johnson, and after their pass rush, their defense isn’t that good. On top of it all, Matt Stafford is very injury prone, and the Lions play in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL. The Lions play 12 games against teams that were .500 or better last season, and they play nine games against teams who had at least 10 wins last season. All in all, the Lions will be lucky to win five games this season, let alone seven or eight. I’m pounding the ‘Under’ for my sports picks here!

My Pick: ‘Under’ 7 ½ -110

Seattle Seahawks (10 ½)

Another NFC team that is desperately overvalued is the Seahawks. I fully expect them to be a great team this season, but between the concerns on Russell Wilson’s second NFL season, and their really tough schedule this season, the Hawks could very easily go 9-7 SU this year and miss the playoffs in a deep NFC. There are not that many teams better than the Hawks in the NFC, but I still think the 49ers will win the division, and the South and North divisions in the NFC are really tough and could take the two wildcard spots. Seattle plays five of their first eight games on the road this season, and even though they performed on the road in 2012, teams will actually see them coming this year. The deck is stacked against the Hawks, and I think the ‘Under’ has value.

My Pick: ‘Under’ 10 ½ -110

Tampa Bay Bucs (7 ½)

The Bucs have a lot of talent on their roster, and they just added more this offseason, but it’s too bad that the talent doesn’t reside at the quarterback position. I think the offense in Tampa will be the root of their demise this season, and it’s not like they play in a cupcake division either. The NFC South is going to be brutal this year compared to a season ago, and if the Bucs couldn’t do better than 7-9 SU last season, I doubt they will do much better than 7-9 SU this season. Tampa has an average schedule, but they have to go on the road to play New England, Atlanta and Seattle early in the season, which might just do them in.

My Pick: ‘Under’ 7 ½ +120 for your NFL Picks.
