Like there are a few overvalued teams in the NFL future odds right now, there are some that look to be undervalued as well.

NFL Most Undervalued Teams Future Odds

Let’s take a look at a few teams at their current NFL odds, and see which ones could be good bets even though it is still March.

Green Bay Packers +1000

It pains me to say it, but the Packers are one of the most undervalued teams this offseason to win it all. Having Aaron Rodgers alone should be recipe enough to be higher than that. As long as they can fix their offensive line problems, as well as the issues on their defense, this is going to be one of the NFC’s best teams. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see the Packers as the number one seed in the NFC once again, and battling the Saints, Falcons, 49ers and Seahawks for NFC dominance. Let’s see what they can do in the draft and free agency, but at this point, things are looking up for the Packers.

Atlanta Falcons +1600

I know they have a history of choking in the playoffs, but if Tony Gonzalez comes back for another season, and they can somehow acquire Darrelle Revis from the Jets, the Falcons will skyrocket in the future odds. Currently, three NFC teams are ranked with better odds, while the Saints and Falcons are both at 16/1. I’m not saying the Falcons are big value right now. A lot can happen within the next few months. However, they still have one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL, and if they can beef up their defense, I think they should at least be as high as the Packers are right now at 10/1. I think we will see the Falcons getting more love in the near future, so if you’re a believer, take them now.

Undervalued in their conference

It’s hard to give a lot of teams shots to win the Super Bowl, but these following teams have some great value aside them to win their conference.

Falcons 8/1 & Saints 10/1

Besides our two friends out West, I think these two southern teams are almost as good, and much more undervalued. The Saints not as much, considering their defensive issues, but the Falcons at 8/1 to finally win the NFC next season, I can see it.

Bengals 15/1

I know this is the Bengals, but this team has a ton of money to spend, and they could be a whole lot better than they were last season, which is scary considering they have been a playoff team. The Bengals have the ability to add and retain whoever they want this offseason, and that is going to play big into their division. I think the Bengals are also going to be good money to win the AFC North. I’ve already written about the Steelers being overvalued next season, and I think the Ravens have little chance of repeating their great run next season. If the Bengals can beef up on defense and get some more playmakers to go alongside AJ Green and Jermaine Gresham, this team could be the most improved of any team going into 2013.
