Join us as we analyse all 16 matchups trading furiously on the NFL odds board in week 15 and serve up choice NFL picks for Over/Under betting enthusiasts.

Week 14 NFL Recap Totals
Week 14 finished on a positive note for us with our NFL picks going 9-7 in over-under betting predictions. Overall, we improve to 103-104-2 on the season, so just about a 50-50 mark. This compliments our total ATS record which stands at 106-97-5 and our SU record that stands at 123-85-0.

So let’s get started on our NFL picks for total bettors this week.

Buccaneers vs. Rams
The totals on this game opened around the 40.5-point mark but have crept up to 41 points since early doors. It’s obviously a salute to the Rams defense, which is nothing to sniff at and has played a part in the Rams’ 3-10-0 OVER record this season. That record is also partly down to the stunted offense that’s struggling to put up points consistently and is averaging a measly 12.5-points a game over the last six. Bucs, however, are 6-7 in O/U betting and are averaging at least 24-points per game over the last six. The inclination is to take the UNDER here, but call it a hunch we’re thinking it might go against the grain.

NFL Picks: OVER 41 (-105) Heritage

Jets vs. Cowboys
Jets and Cowboys collide in week 15 for what is sure to be a pivotal game towards both these teams and their postseason upside. As it is, it’s a low42-point total most sportsbooks hang this game on, but you can also find 41.5-points at some sportsbooks. Originally, this game opened on a 42.5-point line, but it’s clearly trending down. The Jets are 7-6 in O/U betting this season, splitting their last four games 2-2 in over-under betting The Jets offense has averaged 27 points per game in the last four games and their defense has held opponents to 18 points on average over the same span. If those averages collide in this game, there’s a good chance it will crack the 41.5-point total you’d think. The Cowboys defense has been allowing just an average of 22-points per game but that number does go up against better teams.

NFL Picks: OVER 41.5 (-110) Bookmaker

Falcons vs. Jaguars
The Jaguars just beat the Colts 51-16 in week 14 NFL betting, stunning not only the Colts in the process but NFL bettors to be sure. It was one-way traffic all the way from the get go and Blake Bortles had a stellar day. It’s easy to get carried away here as a result and verge towards the OVER on our NFL picks. But what about the Falcons that boast the lowest OVER record in the league at 2-10-1, which includes seven straight UNDERS, eight in their last nine games with the odd one out being a push. That alone provides a strong case for the UNDER, not to mention the pointless effort they enjoyed in a 38-0 loss to the Panthers in week 14 that cashed on the UNDER 45. This is a tricky one to predict because the Falcons mainly are a perplexing lot. We know the Jaguars can put up the points, but will the Falcons contribute to the scoreboard enough to push us OVER the high 48-ish point total. The Jaguars are riding a three-game OVER streak and they lead the league with a 9-4 OVER record. So we’re going with the OVER.

NFL Picks: OVER 48.5 (-110) The Greek

Bills vs. Redskins
The Bills and Redskins collide in week 15 NFL betting in what is sure to be a pivotal game towards their playoff bids. The Bills are 7-6 in O/U betting while the Redskins are 6-7 in O/U betting, so pretty comparable on both sides of the coin. At home, the Redskins are 2-4 in O/U betting and the Bills are 2-4 in O/U betting on the road. Both sides have split their last six games 3-3 in O/U betting. By the stats, this game is a complete and utter tossup.

NFL Picks: UNDER 44 (-110) Heritage

Panthers vs. Giants
The Panthers and Giants are expected to engage in a shootout on Sunday. We know the Panthers can put up the points. Similarly, we know the Giants can put up the points. Most significantly, the Giants defense is more porous than Swiss cheese, which is only going to contribute to the visitors’ tally. It’s going to be a tougher ask for Eli Manning against the Panthers defense, but if he can keep his head up and Odell Beckham Jr. can find open spaces, the Giants could give the Panthers a run for their money, Not surprisingly, this game is trading on a high 48-point total. If all the aforementioned aspects converge, we could have a veritable scoring frenzy. Carolina are 8-4-1 and NYG are 8-5-0 in O/U betting.

NFL Picks: OVER 48 (-105) Pinnacle

Bears vs. Vikings
The Vikings along with the Falcons boast the league’s lowest OVER record at 2-10-1 with a negative 4.3-point differential against the total. The Bears are 6-7-0 in O/U betting with a plus 0.7-differential against the total. Earlier in the season, the Vikings beat the Bears 23-20 at Soldier Field. Curiously, that score falls right on the current total trading at most sportsbooks of 43. NFL bettors can still find 42.5-points with some digging if they’re looking to bet the OVER. As the Vikings are playing at home one has the feeling that advantage will play towards the UNDER, but this game could buck that trend.

NFL Picks: OVER 42.5 (-110) BetCRIS

Texans vs. Colts
With the quarterback situation still up in the air on both sides of the coin, the totals are off the board for this game along with all other NFL odds (SU and ATS). That said, we can still offer up some guiding NFL betting trends before serving up an NFL pick later in the week when the total is released. In terms of OVER records, both sides boast comparable marks – the Texans are 7-5-1 and the Colts are 7-6 in O/U betting. Both sides are coming off offensively questionable accounts – the Texans lost to the Patriots 27-6 while the Colts lost to the Jaguars 51-16. You don’t need to be a genius to figure out which is worse both figuratively and literally. They’ll be looking to bounce back in week 15, but everything hangs on the quarterbacks that are going to play.

NFL Picks: UNDER 42 (+100) Pinnacle

Chiefs vs. Ravens
The Ravens are a mess right now and without reliable quarterback play they are struggling to score. The Chiefs are solid on both sides of the ball and riding a seven-game winning streak, which includes a 6-1 ATS mark and a 3-3-1 O/U mark.

NFL Picks: UNDER 42 (-110) The Greek

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837201, "sportsbooksIds":[169,1096,93,19,92,238], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Titans vs. Patriots
The Titans are coming off a 30-8 loss to the NYJ Jets while the Patriots are coming off a hard-fought 27-6 win over the Texans. By all accounts, most prognosticators are expecting Tom Brady to let it rip in this game and account for the bulk of the total currently trading. It remains to be seen whether Marcus Mariota can deposit more points for his beleaguered Titans. Nobody is expecting the rookie to lead the Titans to victory, but it will be an interesting measure of his talents against the defending Super Bowl champions.

NFL Picks: OVER 46.5 (-110) William Hill

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837204, "sportsbooksIds":[169,1096,93,19,92,238], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Browns vs. Seahawks
Would it surprise anybody if the Browns were dealt a bagel in this game? Probably not. Not to bring up ancient history when the Browns were shutout by the Bengals 30-0 in Cleveland, marking Manziel’s highly anticipated debut a complete and utter failure. But this matchup must conjure up those unpleasant memories for Browns fans, surely. One feels concerned for the prized problem child because the Seahawks are sure as the sun is to rise in the morning to ride roughshod over Manziel and the Browns, if not leave an indelible impression of his form on the luscious lawns of CenturyLink field as a memento. Jimmy Clausen and the Bears were sent packing in 26-0 loss earlier this season. The same could happen here with the Seahawks scoring over 30 points and the Browns firing blanks.

NFL Picks: UNDER 43.5 (-110) JustBet

Packers vs. Raiders
Green Bay are surprisingly just 4-9 in O/U betting while the Raiders are 7-4-2 in O/U betting. Conspicuously, the Raiders are trending towards the UNDER in recent weeks with two of their last six games cashing on the UNDER and two pushing totals of 44 and 45 totals, respectively. Only twice in the last six games did they cash on the OVER – in a 38-35 loss to the Steelers and a 34-20 loss to the Chiefs. That those are both respectable teams might suggest the Raiders raise their level to the quality of the opponent and quarterback. The better the opponent and quarterback the more offensive-minded is their game. Lately, though, their defense has improved. Particularly following the win in Denver.

NFL Picks: OVER 47 (-105) Pinnacle

Bengals vs. 49ers
The Bengals are looking to bounce back from last week’s loss to the Steelers when they descend on Levi Stadium. Leading them into the foray is AJ McCarron and not Andy Dalton, who was injured last week. But that’s not going to be a problem, apparently. Or so AJ McCarron would like everyone to think, going so far as to suggest he might be the next Tom Brady. Be that as it may, it’s his first NFL start and it’s sure to be a tough one against a stout Niners defense that won’t be averse to rubbing his nose in it. It’s a low total trading on this game but we’re going with the UNDER.

NFL Picks: UNDER 40.5 (-105) BetOnline

Broncos vs. Steelers
The Broncos and Steelers collide in what should be a right thriller in Pittsburgh. Brock Osweiler is coming off his first loss in the NFL, a lacklustre 17-15 loss to the Raiders that featured some poor shot calling from the backup and some tired legs on defense. The Steelers, meanwhile, seem to be rounding out into formidable form, at just the perfect time with the season hurtling towards the finish line. This is a must-win game for the Steelers and if they continue to light up the scoreboard as they’ve done in the last five games (30-plus points) then even the solid Denver defense is sure to have its hands full.

NFL Picks: OVER 44.5 (-105) Heritage

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837209, "sportsbooksIds":[169,1096,93,19,92,238], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Dolphins vs. Chargers
This game is tough to call for several reasons. The Chargers look to have packed it in for the season (scoring just 3 points in three of their last four games) while the Dolphins are packing it in following a costly loss to the Giants on MNF. Neither defense is particularly good nor do they have any motivation anymore. One wonders whether they’ll even bother exerting themselves. Add to that the travel and short week for the Dolphins…. Uufff. It’s a tossup.  In any event, it’s a rather high total trading on this game. So we’re going with the UNDER.

NFL Picks: UNDER 46 (-105) Pinnacle

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837210, "sportsbooksIds":[169,1096,93,19,92,238], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Cardinals vs. Eagles
Cardinals are 8-5 in O/U betting while the Eagles are 5-8 in O/U betting. Most recently, the Eagles have been trending towards the OVER with three of their last games cashing OVER totals of 46 or higher. The opposite has to be said of the Cardinals, who came flying out of the blocks at the start of the season, firing at all cylinders. Most recently, they’ve tapered away a bit on the scoreboard and are riding three straight UNDERs into week 15 with totals of 46.5 or less trading. In fact, they are 3-5 in O/U betting in their last eight games. So which of these contrasting realities is going to be deciding in week 15 NFL betting? It’s anybody’s guess really. There are no betting trigger signals either on the NFL odds board as the total hasn’t budged from its 50.5-point total since early doors.

NFL Picks: OVER 50 (-110) The Greek

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837205, "sportsbooksIds":[169,1096,93,19,92,238], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Lions vs. Saints
The Saints are 7-5-1 in O/U betting, which includes a 3-2-1 O/U record at the Superdome. In their last eight games, the totals have been hovering on the 50-plus mark and the Saints have gone 4-3-1 in O/U betting in those, thanks to the lethal arm of Drew Brees and the porous defense as well. The Lions can also tally up the points quite comfortably, especially against a weak defense. Everything seems to point to the OVER in this game.

NFL Picks: OVER 50.5 (-105) Heritage[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837212, "sportsbooksIds":[169,1096,93,19,92,238], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
