Join us as we breakdown week 7 matchups around the NFL and serve up choice NFL picks for the winners and losers in each and every game. Let’s get started.

Week 6 NFL Betting Recap
We had a positive turnout in week 6 with our money line predictions, going 9-5 through the 14-game slate. That winning record has us improving to 52-39-0 mark through six weeks and 91 games analysed and predicted.

Before us is another 14-game slate to cover in this weekly column. So without too much fuss, let’s get cracking.

Seahawks vs. Niners
Seahawks slipped to a 2-4 SU mark last weekend when they lost at home to the Carolina Panthers, joining the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West cellar also on a 2-4 SU mark. The difference, however, is that the Niners are coming off a winning effort in week 6 that has some NFL experts contemplating whether Colin Kaepernick is back, while the Seahawks blew a two-score lead to allow Panthers to nick the improbable win at CenturyLink Field. This is one of the most difficult games to predict on the week’s schedule. It’s obvious both teams are enjoying their separate struggles and need the win badly here. Odds makers seem to think the Seahawks will get it done, sending them into this game as the road faves. We’re of the mind that it won’t be so straight forward. The Niners are a better team at home than on the road this season where they beat the Vikings and Ravens and allowed just 17 points in a losing effort to Green Bay. Seahawks can’t expect to simply romp into town and take the W just like that, especially when it looks like no team in the NFL is fearing the Legion of Boom anymore. Seattle are proven champions and they probably should win this game, but the Niners are showing fight right now, which the Seahawks seem to have misplaced –probably leaving it in the boardroom somewhere when energetically negotiating plush new contacts for themselves –, and that has us considering the Niners could win.

NFL Picks: Niners +240 at Heritage

Bills vs. Jaguars (LONDON)
The Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars clash in London this week. Bills are coming off a loss to the Bengals while the Jaguars are riding a four-game losing streak. Injury list for the Bills provides quite the reading and includes Tyrod Taylor, Sammy Watkins and Percy Harvin, amongst others. Blake Bortles, meanwhile, played with an injured shoulder in last week’s losing effort to the Texans. Both teams will want the win badly here, but if we’re putting money down on the game we’re taking the Bills to win straight up. Even with their injuries, they are a better team than the Jaguars are right now.

NFL Picks: Bills -250

Falcons vs. Titans
The Falcons came crashing back down to earth in last week’s 31-21 loss to the Saints. They’ll be looking to bounce back in what is largely held a winnable game against the Titans and first year quarterback Marcus Mariota. Well, that is assuming the kid plays. The dirty hit on Mariota was one of the main talking points in the aftermath of week 6 and it’s yet uncertain whether he’ll start. In any event, with or without Mariota, likely the Titans will struggle against a Falcons side that was until last week amongst the unbeaten in the NFL.

NFL Picks: Falcons -210 at 5Dimes

Browns vs. Rams
The Cleveland Browns gave the Denver Broncos a run for their money in week 6, but couldn’t pull off the major upset in OT. That has to be a bit of a let-down for Josh McCown and Company. They head to St. Louis in week 7 NFL betting to take on a well-rested Rams side coming off a bye that followed a loss to the Green Bay Packers in week 5. Rams are 2-3 SU overall and 1-1 SU at home going into week 7 while the Browns are 2-4 SU overall and 1-2 SU on the road.

NFL Picks: Rams -240

Texans vs. Dolphins
Both the Texans and Dolphins returned into the win column in week 6 behind lopsided victories over struggling teams (under .500). Texans beat up on the Jaguars 31-20 on the road while the Dolphins bullied the Titans into a 38-10 submission. How these two teams stack up in week 7 is anybody’s guess. One win doesn’t signal a turnaround by any means so each will be looking to back up week 6’s results. Consensus betting reveals that the public is sweet on the Dolphins after they backed up Dan Campbell’s lavish claims with a win in his first game as their new head coach. It’s quite common for teams to play hard for a new coach in his first game. It’s also not uncommon for teams to suffer a bit of a let-down in the subsequent game. We’re fading the public and taking the road underdogs Texans on our NFL picks.

NFL Picks: Texans +180

Vikings vs. Lions
The Lions finally snapped the negative trend in week 6. Hurray! We now know they won’t go 0-16 SU on the season. Winning their first game in a shootout with the Bears that went the distance (37-34 in overtime) was a much needed morale boost for a side that had hit rock bottom behind a 0-5 SU mark in its first five weeks. Question is can they do it two games in a row. Vikings are 0-2 SU on the road this season, but coming off a winning effort over the Kansas City Chiefs in week 6. The surprising bit is that they are quite heavy road favorites in this game – which makes no sense when they’ve not really done anything on the road this season to warrant such favoritism. Granted they might fancy their chances against a divisional foe that still has a long way to go, not to mention one they beat in week 2 of the season. But we’re all over the home underdogs in this game on our NFL picks to win straight up.

NFL Picks: Lions +130 at Pinnacle

Saints vs. Colts
The Saints toppled the Falcons out of the ranks of the undefeated this season. The Colts bombed spectacularly against the Patriots in week 6 NFL betting, behind the now infamous “what the Chuck? Play.” Neither of these teams strike a convincing pose in our books so we are rather loathe to choose either on our NFL picks. The 2-4 SU Saints might have looked like world beaters when they dismantled the Falcons, but going on the road and doing it for a second straight week is something that we’ve not seen them do in some time. The Colts, meanwhile, are a shell of their 2014 instalment with a 3-3 SU mark, three wins that could have easily gone against them. Home advantage gives the Colts the edge, but with NFL odds running upwards of the 200-price point we’re not buying. Better to take the chance on the upset by the road underdogs at +190 NFL odds (or thereabouts depending on your sportsbook of choice) we think.

NFL Picks: Saints +190 at Bet365

Jets vs. Patriots
The AFC East showdown between the New York Jets (4-1 SU) and the unbeaten New England Patriots (5-0 SU) should be one of the games to spot on the week’s schedule. It’s a divisional rivalry the Jets are sure to get up for and play hard in. They’ve got a defense that is nothing to sniff at and could give Brady some headaches. That said the Patriots are in a league of their own and beating them at home is a tall order. Colour the world shocked if the Jets do.

NFL Picks: Patriots -405 at BetOnline

Steelers vs. Chiefs
The Chiefs can’t seem to buy a win no matter how hard they try. They are snowballing out of control behind a five-game losing streak, which marks the worst run of form in the league right now. Alex Smith looks lost and the Chiefs O-line appears to be totally clueless. Steelers, meanwhile, are coming off a winning effort at home to the Arizona Cardinals with a third-string quarterback. It’s yet uncertain whether the Steelers will start Big Ben in this game or go with Landry Jones. As such, the NFL odds are not on the board for the game yet. In any event, we’re of the mind to pick the Pittsburgh Steelers regardless of which quarterback they settle on for this game, simply because the Chiefs inspire very little confidence in us.

NFL Picks: Steelers

Bucs vs. Redskins
Washington Redskins welcome the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 7 NFL betting. Redskins are 2-4 SU on the season while the Buccaneers are 2-3 SU on the season. Neither of these two teams has shown any consistency through the first six weeks, which means this game could go either way. Washington plays better at home though where they are 2-1 SU this season. Take the Redskins on your NFL picks.

NFL Picks: Redskins -165 at WillHill

Raiders vs. Chargers
The divisional clash between the Raiders and Chargers could be one of the surprises in week 7’s round of NFL betting. The Raiders have shown some spunk this season with a 2-3 SU record that includes wins over the Ravens and Bears. The Chargers, however, are the better team on paper. They lost a heartbreaker in week 6 to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at Lambeau, marking their second loss in a row. Philip Rivers and the Chargers will want to bounce back in this game desperately.

NFL Picks: Chargers -200 at TheGreek

Cowboys vs. Giants
The NY Giants are coming off a lacklustre 27-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in MNF. It was a disappointing account by the Giants altogether after getting off to a bright start in the first quarter. Since that opening drive, the Giants were rendered pointless. They’ll need to bounce back in week 7 when they face another divisional foe in the Dallas Cowboys. In week 1, the Giants failed to close the win over the Cowboys on the road, allowing Tony Romo to rally his side to victory by scoring a last-gasp touchdown. There won’t be such heroics this time around as the Cowboys are without Romo and experimenting with a third option at the position. Giants should win this game, if only to gain some vindication.

NFL Picks: Giants -180

Eagles vs. Panthers
The Eagles have bounced back behind a two-game winning streak and taken over top spot in the NFC East with a 3-3 SU mark. That might not last long. They are set to take on the undefeated Carolina Panthers (5-0 SU), who are coming off a big win in Seattle against the NFL odds. News Flash: the Panthers are the real deal. That said, it’s not uncommon for teams to suffer a let-down after a big win. Case-and-point: the Rams upset the Seahawks in week 1 only to fall to the Redskins in week 2. There’s also the fact that the Eagles are finally winning games and playing better football. Everybody is reacting to Carolina’s big win over the Seahawks and the money coming down the wire is mostly going towards the hosts. For that reason and a strong belief that this game really could go either way, we’re taking a chance on the underdogs for our NFL picks.

NFL Picks: Eagles +150

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837093, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Ravens vs. Cardinals
The Baltimore Ravens (1-5 SU) can’t seem to buy a second win on the season no matter how hard they try. They’re very much in every game but coming out on the losing side. The Cardinals, meanwhile, are a solid 4-2 SU and 2-1 SU at home. The Cardinals were disappointing in a losing effort at Heinz Field with a third-string quarterback calling the shots for the Steelers. They need to save face here with a big win over the struggling Ravens at home and we’re banking on them to come through for us on our MNF NFL picks.

NFL Picks: Cardinals -340
