We bring you our weekly-game-by-game NFL picks for money line odds in this column. Find out where we’re casting our bets for week 12 of the NFL 2015-16 season.

Week 11 Recap
Home teams went 9-5 SU in week 11 but just 6-6-2 against the spread. Favorites went 9-5 SU as well, but just 5-7-2 against the spread. As this column is all about money line betting, we look at our record for week 11, which was a healthy 9-5 SU and has us improving to 93-67-0 SU on the season.

Record Over the Last 4 Weeks:

Week 8: 9-5-0
Week 9: 8-5-0
Week 10: 8-6-0
Week 11: 9-5-0
Overall Record For 11 Weeks: 93-67-0

Week 12 SU Odds and Predictions
Looking ahead, we have a 16-game slate waiting for us to handicap with lots of pivotal clashes that could be deciding for the playoff hunt. Let’s get cracking, shall we.

Bills vs. Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are riding a three-game winning streak and, finally, improving to 5-5 SU as a result. The Bills, meanwhile, are coming off a loss to the Patriots and slipping to 5-5 SU. To all intents and purposes, this is a potential playoff decider in the AFC and both these teams will be looking to take the win. Home advantage and current form has us leaning towards the Chiefs, not to mention a short week for the Bills. Another thing to keep in mind, Tyrod Taylor was injured in the Pats game. There’s a small chance he might not play. That means the alternative would be E.J. Manuel. Under no circumstance would we risk good money on E.J. (sorry man!).

NFL Picks: Chiefs -235 betway

Dolphins vs. Jets
The Jets are 5-5 SU, a game ahead of the Dolphins (4-6 SU) in the AFC East. The Jets have dropped two games in a row, the last one rather abysmally in Houston. The Jets won the first encounter 27-14 in London – the game after which Joe Philbin received his marching orders. It was the last straw that broke the Camel’s back, so to speak. Last week, neither team played particularly well in their respective matchups, which makes this a tossup game. Small stake on the home favorites, but don’t go betting the farm on it.

NFL Picks: Jets -175 bet365

Vikings vs. Falcons
Admittedly, we’ve not been high on the Vikings this season. Last week, they came back down to earth with their biggest loss of the season since losing to the Niners 20-3 in week 1. In fact, both the 30-13 loss to the Packers and the 20-3 loss to the Niners sport a 17-point margin. On the flipside, the Falcons appear to have lost the plot. When they reeled off five straight wins to start the season, all were hailing the Falcons as potential playoff contenders and calling Dan Quinn a genius. Since those heady days, the Falcons have won one of their last five games to slip to a 6-4 SU mark. Was all the praise and the expectation that came with it too hot to handle? Whatever the reason there’s no denying they’re in a bit of a freefall. We’re not too high on the Vikings as yet, but we can’t ignore their value for the upset in Atlanta. Last week’s loss can be easily explained away: they lost to an established divisional standard. The Falcons’ negative trend can’t be so easily explained away, making it that much more difficult to bounce back from.

NFL Picks: Vikings +110 Heritage

Saints vs. Texans
Saints prop up the NFC South with a 4-6 SU mark. They’re coming off a bye week that followed a rather stunning loss to the Washington Redskins in week 10 that highlighted the problems on the defensive side of the ball mainly. Rob Ryan got the axe as a result. How much difference is that going to make this week is up in the air. The Texans, meanwhile, have bounced back with a two-game winning streak since a week 9 bye. Importantly, they raised some eyebrows with a 10-6 win over the then undefeated Bengals on MNF with the winning touchdown coming from backup T.J. Yates. The key to the winning formula for the Texans has been the elevated play of the defense. If J.J. Watt and his hard knocks crew can keep it up, Hoyer or Yates at quarterback should be enough to clinch the home win.

NFL Picks: Texans -150 Westgate

Giants vs. Redskins
The NY Giants are coming off a bye week to take on divisional rivals Washington Redskins, all while top spot in the NFC East is on the line. Advanced betting lines had this game as a pick’em, but since the Redskins were routed by the Panthers the Giants emerge as the considerable favorites on the NFL odds board. Giants beat the Redskins 32-21 in week 3, a game that marked a mini-turnaround for Eli Manning and the G-men. Granted the Redskins are 4-1 SU at FedEx Field this season, which is nothing to sniff at when making your NFL picks for this game. However, the Giants are an unpredictable team and this is a winnable game.

Raiders vs. Titans
Raiders have come back down to earth behind a three-game losing streak. The Titans have just two wins on the season and are riding a two-game losing streak going into week 12 NFL betting. Things are falling apart in both camps, despite all the hype and promise they offered at the start of the season. By all accounts, this is going to be a tossup between two teams that have very promising quarterbacks and can be optimistic about their future prospects. As it pertains to this game, the Raiders are playing their second straight road game, which is a challenge in itself and that has us leaning ever-so slightly to the home underdogs.

NFL Picks: Titans +110 5Dimes

Chargers vs. Jaguars
The Chargers look to have thrown in the towel for the season. What else was that 33-3 loss to the Chiefs at home but a complete and utter surrender? Typically, a beat down such as they endured prompts a bounce back performs. However, nothing the Chargers have shown this season suggests they’re about to get mad enough to get up for this game. Their season is all but done with a 2-8 SU mark and, in all likelihood, they’re probably quitting the city for the more exciting riches of Los Angeles. Jaguars have a lot at stake in this game. They are 4-6 SU and just a game behind the Colts and Texans in the division.

NFL Picks: Jaguars -210 Westgate

Rams vs. Bengals
The Bengals will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak at home when they host the Rams. They lost a right thriller on Sunday Night in Arizona 34-31. The Rams, meanwhile, are having a bit of a quarterback crisis. Benching Nick Foles didn’t solve the problem last week as Case Keenum and the Rams lost in Baltimore. Worst bit, Keenum was concussed but still allowed to play. Whoever the Rams start at quarterback, it’s hard to see them winning in Cincy.

NFL Picks: Bengals -425 BetOnline

Buccaneers vs. Colts
Matt Hasselbeck looks to go 4-0 SU at the expense of Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers in week 12 NFL betting. Last week, he led the Colts to a 24-21 win over the Falcons on the road. Heck, he’s got a better record with the Colts this season than Andrew Luck has, which is telling. The Bucs are coming off a huge win over the Eagles that stunned NFL bettors the nation over. It’s going to be a tough ask for them to pull off back-to-back road wins this week, but they could keep it close here.

NFL Picks: Colts -175 Westgate

Cardinals vs. 49ers
This has to be a straightforward NFL pick on week 12’s NFL betting card. The Niners are hugely disappointing this season. The Blaine Gabbert experiment isn’t solving much and against a stoic Cardinals defense look for the Niners to suffer another debilitating defeat.

NFL Picks: Cardinals -500

Steelers vs. Seahawks
The Steelers and Seahawks collide in a highly intriguing game that is sure to go a long way towards the postseason. Both will view this game as a must-win. With the Bengals losing to the Cardinals in week 11, the Steelers have a stab at top spot yet in the AFC North. They are just two games behind the Bengals. Seahawks, meanwhile, are three games behind the Cardinals, desperate to salvage their season. Seahawks are considerable favorites in this game, but they haven’t been playing up to scratch. A win over the Niners last week is nothing to get charged about. The Steelers are coming off a bye and Big Ben rested up for this game. This could be the upset to spot on your NFL picks.

NFL Picks: Steelers +170 BetOnline

Patriots vs. Broncos
There are those that are being seduced by the potential storyline of the grasshopper surpassing the master. There are those NFL bettors that would extend this notion beyond Brock Osweiler overcoming Peyton Manning (the equivalent of Miyagi) as the starter, but also the young gun upsetting the Tom Brady and the Patriots. No comment.

NFL Picks: Patriots -155 5Dimes

Ravens vs. Browns
Nobody is going to be tuning into this game we’d wager. Joe Flacco is out for the season and the Ravens are practically done for the season anyway.  Enter Matt Schaub. The Browns are distracted by yet another Johnny ‘Football’ Manziel incident, which has prompted an end of the mollycoddling for the time being. He’s benched for the game. Probably won’t suit up as he’s named the third-string quarterback. Matt Schaub probably never expected to play this season while Josh McCown must be chuffed to have another opportunity to play and ply his wares. It’s a tossup, but we’re going with the Browns at home.

NFL Picks: Browns -150 Bovada

Eagles vs. Lions
The Eagles are yet to decide who is going to start in Thursday’s clash with the Lions and that uncertainty has caused quit the flipping of the script for this game. Eagles were installed as the favorites in advanced betting last week, but they’ve now been bet out of favor and are trading as the road underdogs anywhere from +115 to +130 NFL odds. An appropriate turn considering the Eagles will have to rely on Mark Sanchez. Yikes. We saw how that turned out last week in the embarrassing 45-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ouch. No wonder Eagles fans are giving up hope for the playoffs, even with the Eagles sat a game behind division leaders NY Giants. Detroit Lions aren’t exactly anything to get charged about with a 3-7 SU record and a season that is going to be determined by the pride they play with down the stretch. Given a choice between Matthew Stafford and Mark Sanchez, we’re going with the former.

NFL Picks: Lions -135 5Dimes

Panthers vs. Cowboys
Tony Romo marked his return to the field with a win over the Dolphins, lifting the Cowboys to a 3-7 SU mark, two wins behind divisional leaders NY Giants with six games left on the season including the clash with the Panthers on Thursday. If the significance isn’t obvious: the Cowboys are still in the playoff hunt only because the NFC East is a mess. What this means for the Cowboys: they have to win the maximum games possible from here onwards and hope the rest of the field continues to flounder.

A date with the undefeated Panthers isn’t an ideal game upon which to build a winning streak you’d think. Well, not so for odds makers, who seem to think otherwise and are installing America’s team as the home favorites. That has something to do with the fact that Tony Romo is a perfect 3-0 SU starter this season. Not to mention, he had a standout run in 2014 all the way to the playoffs. However, it does go against common sense and flies in the face of what the Panthers have accomplished this season with a 10-0 SU and a 14-game undefeated run in the regular season going back to 2014.

Admittedly, we’ve attempted to predict on several occasions the game in which the Panthers would stub their toes. Obviously, that didn’t pan out for us on our NFL picks. We’re not about to do the same here again. On one hand, Romo is definitely an elite quarterback that makes everybody around him that much better and he’s clearly injected life into the Cowboys’ camp. He may very well carry the Cowboys to the victory. However, the Panthers are consistently being underrated this season. With NFL odds of +100 or higher trading on the road win it’s too tempting not to tickle those.

NFL Picks: Panthers +110 BetOnline

Bears vs. Packers
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers snapped a three-game losing streak in Minnesota last weekend with a statement-making 30-13 win over the Vikings. Back at the top of the NFC North and faced with a winnable game, look for Rodgers and the Packers to improve to 8-3 SU on the season, marking the day they honour their beloved Brett Favre with a winning gong.

NFL Picks: Packers -400 bet365
