Week 13 marks the official start to the home stretch of the NFL season, as every team has only 5 games remaining apiece. Lets break down the NFL odds and find out which NFL picks hold the true value.

Week 13 marks the official start to the home stretch of the NFL season, as all teams now have 5 guaranteed games remaining this regular season. For the first time since Week 3, all 32 teams will be in action this week, and six of them will be on Thursday. I have found a couple of prices that I am ready to recommend to you.

Titans vs. Colts

The Colts have been one big rollercoaster ever since they lost Reggie Wayne, and now they welcome in the Titans for a big game for both teams. The Colts are by default leading the AFC South, and Tennessee is currently the leading 5-6 AFC team for the final wildcard spot.

The NFL Odds have the Colts as -4 favorites here in this one, with a total of 44 ½. While the total is somewhat inviting, I think the spread actually holds more value in this one. The Titans have been playing much better recently, and I think they are the play here in this game.

Indianapolis has been blown out in two of their last three games, and the only game they haven’t been blown out of recently was their win on the road in Tennessee. The Titans played well, but the Colts ended up with the win by three points.

Since then the Titans have been playing pretty good football. Their defense especially has been picking up. The Titans have averaged giving up less than 100 yards rushing per game in their last three games, and since the Colts have no running game, I think we can expect it to happen for a fourth straight week.

The Titans already have the pass defense to slow down the Colts, and even though they are on the road, their defense should travel well. They allowed only 350 total yards last week on the road, and I see them doing the same this week. We're going to take the points with the Titans and add them to our NFL picks.

My Pick: Titans +4

Steelers vs. Ravens

When these two teams get together it’s always a slugfest. This week should be no different, as the sportsbooks have the Ravens listed as -3 favorites with a total of 40 ½ points. The last time these two got together is was earlier in the season at Pittsburgh, and the game ended in favor of the Steelers, 19-16. With a cold day coming, and on a short week, I see another low scoring game in Baltimore this time.

The under is 14-7-1 combined with these two teams this season, and two of their last three games against one another overall have gone under the total. Also, four of the last six road games for the Steelers, and the last five home games for the Ravens have gone under the total.

Both of these teams will be tired from the short week, and both should have a good game defensively. They both average around 20 points per game against one another in their last ten games against each other, and while the total is an even 5-5 in those games, I see it falling under in this second matchup of the season. Look for a final score around what it was a few weeks ago when these two teams played.

My Pick: UNDER 40 ½
