With only three weeks of the NFL season remaining, the NFL Odds are getting tougher to crack. However with a wealth of options this week, there should be some nice values to add to your NFL Picks. Here is a look at the bigger opening odds.

Cardinals vs. Rams
Even after losing their starting quarterback, the Cardinals keep on rolling, as they notched their 10th win of the season on Sunday. They will face off against the NFC West’s team in the wings the Rams, and the NFL Odds actually favor the Rams here at -3, with a total of 40 ½. Andre Ellington is now on injured reserve, so down their two best offensive players, and on a short week against one of the better NFC defenses, it’s going to be an uphill climb for the Cards this week.

Texans vs. Colts
This game would have been a lot bigger if the Colts wouldn’t have come back to get the win against the Browns. However if the Colts lose this one, it would put the AFC South up for grabs. The NFL Odds however firmly favor the Colts here at -6 ½, with an NFL Odds total of 49. Indianapolis is going to have to start better than they did on Sunday in order to beat the Colts.

Packers vs. Bills
While we won’t know whether the Packers will be coming off of a win or loss until later this evening, the Packers are coming out at sportsbooks with NFL Odds favoring them at -5 ½, with a total of 48. If they have a big game this week these odds will likely increase some, even though playing in Buffalo is never easy. Look for these odds to shift a lot between now and tomorrow.

49ers vs. Seahawks
Jim Harbaugh was asked if Blaine Gabbert could be getting some playing time at his press conference, and if that’s not an indicator of how things are going in San Francisco, I don’t know what is. The Seahawks are anywhere from a -9 ½ to a -11 favorite in the NFL Odds, and I think it’s likely that they will settle on the higher side of those odds by the time Sunday comes around. These two teams are going in opposite directions, and the Hawks should roll at home.

Cowboys vs. Eagles
The biggest divisional game of the week is by far Sunday night Football between the Eagles and Cowboys and the NFL Odds have the Boys as -3 ½ favorites with a total of 55 ½. This game will be for outright control of the NFC East and it will almost surely finish a lot closer than what their last meeting on Thanksgiving did. I could see the NFL Odds lowering some before Sunday’s game, however after their loss, I could also see it staying right at -3 ½ Sunday.

Saints vs. Bears
Monday Night Football is of lesser importance than Sunday night, but it should still be a good game. The lack of defense might be the biggest storyline for both of these teams, and the NFL Odds reflect that with a total of 54 points, and a line that favors the Saints at -2 ½. I would not be surprised to see the Bears win this game, but they lost Brandon Marshall for the rest of the year on Sunday, and at home they have been anything but perfect. Look for them to still be dogs next Monday.
