The Superdome will rocking on Sunday night when two division leaders in the Dallas Cowboys (5-2) and New Orleans Saints (6-2) collide in what’s expected to be high scoring passing oriented game. See who we think will come out on the winning end.

Kickoff is set for Sunday at 8:30 pm ET in at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This game can be seen on NBC.

In regards to NFL odds, Bet 365 Sportsbook lists the Saints as a 7.5 point betting favorite and the total for the game is 54.

This game is must win for Dallas in the chaotic NFC East Division while the Saints are trying to recuperate from a disappointing 26-20 loss to the New York Jets. Drew Brees and the Saints couldn’t overcome the pass rush of the Jets and New York pulled off the upset along with 200 yards on the ground as Chris Ivory got his revenge.

A matchup against Dallas at home is a much better matchup for Sean Payton’s Saints as Tony Romo and the Cowboys will look to be airing it out consistently.

Drew Brees To Jimmy Graham All Night Long

Even though New Orleans came out on the losing end last week, Brees was able to hookup with Graham consistently against New York’s poor secondary and although Graham was battling the plantar fasciitis in the cold weather, he was a beast in a game that people thought that he might not play in.

Brees passed for 382 yards and 2 touchdowns and those 2 TD’s were both thrown to Graham, who had 9 catches and 116 yards to go along with it. We can definitely see a Graham vs. Bryant matchup here. Graham played with major passion as he would dunk the football over the goal post after each score; this is a player that’s hungry to be the best.

Brees also got Robert Meacham more involved in the offense as Marques Colston is seeking a week 10 return and Darren Sproles is battling the after effects of a concussion. Look for a lot of Lance Moore and Meacham against a Cowboys secondary who is without Morris Claiborne.

A Super Bowl team needs to have a proper combination of passing and running, but right now the Saints have very little in the form of running to offer. It’s going to be DeMarcus Ware being double teamed as he knows a pass is coming for a majority of the Saints offensive snaps.

The Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Tony Romo are truly an enigma. They have the talent to be one of the best teams in the league, but as in the past, they never seem to accomplish their goal. With players like Dez Bryant who have a “me first” mentality, they will continue to have problems. Everyone remembers the tirade that Bryant threw on the sideline in a loss to Detroit as Calvin Johnson caught for over 300 yards; Bryant is a true distraction to this team, but he’s also a key component to winning.

After a game that they should’ve won against the Lions, the Cowboys came back last week with a 2 minute drive in the 4th quarter to steal a win away from Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings, 27-23. Tony Romo came through in the clutch with a winning 7 yard touchdown pass to Dwayne Harris with 35 seconds left in the game.

Jason Witten was the key receiver for Dallas in this game with 8 receptions and 102 yards and we don’t know if this is a message from Romo to Bryant in declaring leadership on this team. Nonetheless, this upcoming game is a huge game for Dallas as Philadelphia and Nick Foles are nipping at their heels, just 1 game behind the Cowboys in the NFC Eastern Division.

It’s going to be a shootout between Brees and Romo and although New Orleans has the home field advantage, 7.5 points is a lot to give to Dallas. Take the Cowboys for your NFL picks and the points in what should be a highly contested high scoring football game.
