We had a really exciting Thursaday Night Football Game to start NFL Week 9 but the weekend has a lot more to offer us.  Let's look for some value NFL picks for thei value packed Sunday.

Atlanta Falcons vs. San Francisco
The San Francisco 49'ers have went from Super Bowl participants to the laughing stock of the league as Jim Harbaugh and Vernon Davis are no long  Niners and Colin Kaepernick has lost his job to Blaine Gabbert.

While it's possible that Gabbert could go out and have a decent game, the Niners have to deal with one of the surprises in the league in running back ,Devonta Freeman, and possibly the best wide receiver in the league in Juio Jones. The Niners simply can't compete with the Falcons as Gabbert hasn't built as chemistry with guys like Anquan Boldin and Carlos Hyde, their starting running back, is also down with injury. Atlanta is the pick here. Lay the points.

NFL Pick: Atlanta Falcons -7.5 (+106) at 5Dimes

Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts: Peyton Gets the Last Laugh
Indy has always played Peyton Manning tough even when he still was in his prime after the Colts let him go for Andrew Luck. Now, Luck is supposed to be the future of quarterbacks in the NFL and is having a hurrendous season. We were told that he has cracked ribs and the Colts hid it from the commissioner of the NFL, but regardless, he's been throwing the football too high and unable to get the ball to targets such as T.Y. Hilton. That said, Frank Gore has done a surprisingly good job in the backfield, but the Colts have been awful.

Indy will host an undefeated Denver Broncos team and last week against the Green Bay Packers, Manning looked like the Manning of old despite not throwing a TD.pass.

He has Ronnie Hillman and C.J. Anderson running the ball well and of course Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas are two of the best targets in the NFL. The difference in this team is the Denver defense. Denver has the best defense against the run and the pass iin the NFL thanks to guys like DeMarcus Ware and Aquib Talib. I don't see Luck having success against this defense. Take Denver and lay the points.

NFL Pick: Denver Broncos -4.5 (-102) at Bet DSI

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas CowboysMust Win Situation For Dallas in DeMarco Murray's Return To the Big D
I have never seen a player's performance drop from one season to another like DeMarco Murray ever! Murray went from a running back that rushed for 1800 plus yards to a back that can barely get 3 to 4 yards on a carry. So much, that people are calling for Ryan Matthews to take his place. Murray complained about not getting the ball enough in Chip Kelly's offense, but Murray has been a flatout disaster. Now, Murray must face his old team that handled him the first time and worst of all, the boos coming from the stands. This is a bad spot for Murray to be in.

No Romo, No Win
The Cowboys have tried every quarterback in the book to replace Romo and it just hasn't worked. They have also tried every running back and Darren McFadden appears to be a keeper as Dez Bryant returns.

Although there's been a lot of off the field conflict with Dallas, at 2-5, they need this win as the New York Giants are 4-4 and fought hard against the New Orleans Saints in a loss last week.

Actually, both teams sorely need a victory. I'm going to have to side with Philly in this game as Sam Bradford is a better quarterback than anything that Dallas has to offer and my gutis telling me that Murray plays well. Take the points with the Eagles.

NFL Pick: Philadelphia Eagles -3 (-118) at The Greek
