Indianapolis is 6-8 and they might need to win the AFC South just to get into the playoffs. They'll be in Miami, where the Dolphins are 5-9 and have lost four of their five.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: Miami -1 at Pinnacle
The NFL odds for this game opened at -1 for Miami. The Colts are sorting out more quarterback issues and they reared their head in a 16-10 loss at home to Houston. The Colts have scored 36 points in a recent three-game skid and while their defense kept them in the game against the Texans, that was due more to Houston having their own injuries under center. The Dolphins lost 30-14 in San Diego, and it isn't that they played badly; it might have been the Chargers' final game in San Diego and they were powered by emotion. However, the Dolphins didn't help their cause, allowing 442 yards and holding the ball for just over 21 minutes. The Dolphins' defense has been awful, ranking 30th in yards allowed and 26th in points allowed. However, the Colts miss Andrew Luck at quarterback and can't take deep shots, so Miami should be able to get going against them. Meanwhile, Indianapolis' defense isn't that much better than Miami's, if at all.

Injuries
The Colts expect QB Matt Hasselbeck to play this weekend, but you name it, he has hurt it. The 40-year-old has missed time in three games because of injuries to his jaw, ribs, neck, back and shoulder, which will happen at his age. Luck and his lacerated kidney is improving, but he still isn't ready to come back. WR Griff Whalen is out for the season with broken ribs, while WR Phillip Doresett left the Houston game with a sprained ankle and should be watched this week.

The Dolphins are shutting players down for the season, starting with C Mike Pouncey, who hurt his foot/ankle. LB/DE Chris McCain is gone because of his knee, while LB Koa Misi joins them because of his back. RB Lamar Miller didn't play much against San Diego because of his quadriceps, and the Dolphins might just shut him down as well.

Trends
Indianapolis is 6-8 ATS overall, going 3-4 ATS on the road, while the Dolphins are 4-10 ATS and just 1-5 ATS at home. There is no total, but both teams have gone over seven times this season.

The two have split their last 10 meetings SU, with the Dolphins going 6-4 ATS. They've also split their last 10 meetings in Miami, with the Colts going 5-4-1 ATS.
