Are the Atlanta Falcons set for a bounce back season with the easiest NFL Schedule of the field in the NFL? Check out our game-by-game analysis of their 2015 NFL schedule and our predictions for their Season Win Totals.

Atlanta Falcons Benefit From Easiest NFL Schedule
The Atlanta Falcons have received the easiest NFL Schedule in 2015, ranked 32nd with a 0.409 winning percentage they have what essentially appears to be the easiest course to navigate through the 17 week regular season. Can they capitalize on this fortuitous draw and rebound from a disappointing 2014 season that ushered in a whole slew of changes?

If the NFL odds were any indication, the prognosis is favorable for new head coach Dan Quinn and his birds. Odds makers chalked the season win total line at 8, in early NFL betting markets but that number has swelled by half-a-point at Bovada already. It's worth noting though that the OVER is trading at -105 while the UNDER is trading at -125 NFL odds.

Last season, the Atlanta Falcons were also trading on an 8.5 season win total. We all know how that went: a 6-10 SU record that fell considerably below expectations. When we served up our 2014 Falcons game-by-game preview and took stock of the strength of their NFL schedule then, which ranked 11th in the league, with a 0.512 winning percentage, we predicted the Falcons would go 6-10. We we're right on the money with our NFL picks: the UNDER 8.5 at -140.

So the obvious question: can we make it two seasons in a row correctly predicting the Falcons' season win totals? Let's give it a shot.

Week 1: vs. Philadelphia (home),  Monday, Sep 14 at 7:10 PM
Right out of the gates and a head on collision with Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles' quick strike offense. A Monday Night Football extravaganza no less. Talk about challenge, eh Dan Quinn? This isn't going to be an easy game, especially if the Falcons' defense isn't improved enough by week 1 NFL betting. It's a home game, so the atmosphere at Georgia Dome is going to be electric and the Falcons will be eager to erase the unpleasant memories of last season. Still, with a brand new coach and new game plan and scheme, there are sure to be growing pains. We're giving it to the visitors here.

NFL Picks: Loss
Record 0-1

Week 2: vs. NY Giants (road), Sunday,  Sep 20 at 1 PM
Week 2 NFL betting has the Falcons trekking to NY for a date with the Giants. It's a short week, an early start and a bit of a trek. Last season, the Falcons lost to the Giants 30-20 in Week 5 NFL betting. This is a good matchup for both sides and both quarterbacks can be error-prone. The one that makes the fewest mistakes here leads his team to the win. It's a tossup. Home advantage tips it to the New York Giants in our books.

NFL Picks: Loss
Record 0-2

Week 3: vs. Dallas (road), Sunday, Sep 27 at 1 PM
A second straight road date in as many weeks, a third straight NFC East opponent (ok, this part of the schedule isn't easy, obviously). This time it's a trip to the AT&T Stadium to take on the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys were better on the road than they were at home last season, which could give the Falcons a modicum of hope. However, this is a team that is still adjusting to Dan Quinn and that gives the Cowboys the edge at home.

NFL Picks: Loss
Record 0-3

Week 4: vs. Houston (home),  Sunday, Oct 4  1 PM
The Texans' defense is formidable and is sure to give Matt Ryan fits. The game is at the Georgia Dome, which will allow the Falcons to play it close. But if J.J. Watt and Company get at Matt Ryan, this could be a tough home loss to swallow.

NFL Picks: Loss
Record 0-4

Week 5: vs. Washington (home), Sunday, Oct 11 at 1 PM
Finally, a beatable NFC East opponent and a winnable game for the Falcons in week 5 NFL betting as the schedule finally lives up to its billing of being the easiest in the league. The Washington Redskins are a mess and the Falcons' defense should have a field day with RGIII while their offense runs riot.

NFL Picks: Win
Record 1-4

Week 6: vs. New Orleans (road),  Thursday, Oct 15 at 8:25 PM
In week 1 of NFL betting, the Falcons stunned the Saints at the Georgia Dome with a come-from-behind win, 37-34 in OT. They then backed up the win at the Superdome in week16 NFL betting, winning 30-14. This is going to be a heated battle as the New Orleans Saints will look to reverse their fortunes against the Falcons. By now, Quinn's players will be on page with his game plan. This could be a close one that goes either way. It's a short week for the Falcons though and a road game. The edge goes to the Saints on our NFL Picks.

NFL Picks: Loss
Record 1-5

Week 7: vs. Tennessee (road), Sunday, Oct 25 at 1 PM
If the NFL had a second-tier division, the Titans would have been demoted a long time ago. This is essentially a winnable game, even if it is on the road. If the Falcons don't win this one, colour the NFL betting world shocked.

NFL Picks: Win
Record 2-5

Week 8: vs. Tampa Bay (home),  Sunday, Nov 1 at 1 PM
Divisional rivals Tampa Bay Buccaneers are after a humiliating 2-14 SU, which included an 0-8 SU mark at home and an 0-6 SU mark against divisional opponents. On paper, this is a winnable game for the Falcons. The Bucs have made some improvements in the offseason but their quarterback situation is dicey with Mike Glennon and rookie Jameis Winston.

NFL Picks: Win
Record: 3-5

Week 9: vs. San Francisco (road), Sunday, Nov 8 at 4:05 PM
In week 9 NFL betting, the Falcons hit the road and head to the Golden State to take on the revamped Niners at Levi's Stadium. The Niners have lost a lot of players to retirement and trades, they also lost their venerable coach Jim Harbaugh. That said they still have plenty of weapons on both sides of the ball to make this a tough road test for the Falcons.

NFL Picks: Loss
Record 3-6

Week 10: BYE

Week 11: vs. Indianapolis (road), Sunday, Nov 22 at 1 PM
Andrew Luck and the Colts welcome Matt Ryan and the Falcons at Lucas Oil Stadium in week 11 NFL betting, after the Falcons come off a bye week. This could be a veritable shoot out between Matt Ryan and Andrew Luck, but the Indianapolis Colts will have the edge and they have last season's stellar run into the playoffs to build on in 2015.

NFL Picks: Loss
Record 3-7

Week 12: vs. Minnesota (home),  Sunday, Nov 29 at 1 PM
Matt Ryan and the Falcons welcome second year quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and the Minnesota Vikings to the Georgia Dome in week 12 NFL betting. The Vikings figure to have the toughest NFL schedule this season. By now, they could be knackered If not worn down. Matt Ryan and the Falcons were embarrassed by the Vikings last season in a 41-28 loss that shocked NFL betting markets. It's payback time with the game this time in Atlanta.

NFL Picks: Win
Record: 4-7

Week 13: vs. Tampa Bay (road), Sunday, Dec 6 at 1 PM
Despite their struggles last season, the Falcons had no trouble overcoming the Bucs and sweeping the series. This year should be no different as the Bucs are a long way from being viable contenders in the NFL.

NFL Picks: Win
Record 5-7

Week 14: vs. Carolina (road), Sunday, Dec 13 at 1 PM
At the close of 2014, the Falcons were steamrolled by the Panthers in a 34-3 defeat at the Georgia Dome. Payback for beating the Panthers 19-17 in Carolina perhaps. In any event, this figures to be another tight battle between divisional rivals.  Home edge tips it towards the Carolina Panthers this time around.

NFL Picks: Loss
Record 5-8

Week 15: vs. Jacksonville (road), Sunday, Dec 20 at 1 PM
If the Falcons don't beat up on the Jaguars in week 15 NFL betting, colour the world shocked again. Jaguars are a developing side, still in the fledgling stages. Second year quarterback Blake Bortles still has a lot of growing pains to undergo. The Falcons should win handily.

NFL Picks Win
Record 6-8

Week 16: vs. Carolina (home), Sunday, Dec 27 at 1 PM
A second meeting with the NFC South champions in three weeks. This time at the Georgia Dome where the Falcons should capitalise on home edge as these two divisional rivals split the series with each side winning at home.

NFL Picks: Win
Record 7-8

Week 17: vs. New Orleans (home),  Sunday, Jan 3 at 1 PM
The Atlanta Falcons close the season at home against divisional opponents New Orleans. These are two evenly matched teams, although the Falcons had the Saints' number last season. With a home game to close the season, the Falcons will play hard to avoid another closing embarrassment as they suffered against the Panthers last season.

NFL Picks: Win
Record 8-8

NFL Betting Verdict: By our modest estimations, we have the Falcons finishing .500 at best. It's not enough to crack the 8.5 projected season win total, but it's an improvement on their 6-10 SU record of last year. Small blessings. As such, we're recommending the UNDER 8.5 at -125 for your NFL picks.
