With the ultimate week of NFL betting approaching we hotfoot over to the early NFL odds board and serve up our NFL Picks for each and every game against the spread. Find out which side of the coin we've covered.

Lions +6.5 vs. Packers -6.5
Lions and Packers collide in week 17 NFL betting with the divisional title on the line. Both teams are tied 11-4 SU in the NFC North and have clinched playoff berths. So this game is all about bragging rights in the division mainly and the edge it would give the champion in the playoffs. Given that the Packers have home field advantage, where they have been unbeatable this season and boast a 5-1-1 ATS record with a 20.7-point margin of victory, the Lions will be hard pressed to come into Lambeau field and cover as the 6.5-point road underdogs, never mind win SU. Take the Packers on your NFL picks as the 6.5-point faves.

Free NFL Picks:  Packers -6.5

Jaguars +7.0 vs. Texans -7.0
Both the Jaguars and Texans are coming off wins in week 16 NFL betting. The difference being the Texans kept their slim (very very slim) playoff hopes alive with a surprise 25-13 win over the Ravens behind a fourth-string quarterback. Well, technically it was Foster and the defense that did the work to lead the Texans to the impressive victory. For the Texans to make the playoffs now, they need several teams to lose win week 17. They can only take care of business at home though. As far as matchups go, they couldn't have had a more opportune matchup than the Jaguars, who are 0-7 SU on the road and 2-4-1 ATS with a 15.3-point margin of defeat.

Free NFL Picks: Texans -7.0

Bengals +3.0 vs. Steelers -3.0
Steelers clinched a playoff berth with an important home win over the Chiefs, a 20-12 win that saw them cover as the nominal 3-point home chalk on the NFL odds board. Behind that win the Steelers improved to 10-5 SU on the season. They are 5-2 SU at home and 4-3 ATS with a 7-point margin of victory. Steelers have also covered their last three games both home and away. The Bengals are slated to take on the Broncos on Monday Night Primetime Football. Pending on that result, the AFC North is still up in the air with plenty of outcomes in play. It may seem premature to look ahead to week 17's clash with the Steelers without knowing the outcome of the Broncos vs. Bengals affair on Monday, which wraps up week 16 NFL betting, but were confident the Steelers are the better play here barring any significant injuries or developments over the week. A  short week and the Steelers at home, we don't like the odds for the Bengals.

Free NFL Picks: Steelers -3.0

Colts -6.5 vs. Titans +6.5
Indianapolis Colts have won the AFC South title and are assured a playoff berth. They're not going to risk a whole lot in this game, mindful of the looming playoffs. On the flipside,  they may not need to put up a lot of effort to beat the Titans soundly. Tennessee's season is over, done a long time ago in the eyes of many. They are after a loss to the Jags on Thursday Night Football betting 21-13, and they are only 1-6 SU and 1-5-1 ATS at home with a 9.4-point margin of defeat.

Free NFL Picks: Colts -6.5

Browns +9.0 vs. Ravens -9.0
Ravens' postseason hopes are living on a prayer after the debacle in week 16 NFL betting, losing to the Texans on the road all while installed as the 6.5-point road favourites. Losing to a fourth-string quarterback is something that's going to be tough to live down. It doesn't bode well for their clash with the Browns in week 17 NFL betting either. Browns may be out of the playoffs but they could still potentially play spoilers here. What's more, the Ravens need some help in week 17 with key losses by their playoff rivals.

The Johnny "Football" Manziel era came to an abrupt end when he was escorted off the field with a hamstring injury in Cleveland's loss to the Panthers. It's back to Brian Hoyer for the Browns, who must be a bit miffed that he wasn't allowed to see the season to conclusion after bringing the Browns to the brink of a playoff spot. It remains to be seen what Hoyer can do in his last appearance this season; whether being slighted will be enough of a motivator to carry the Browns to victory, even if their playoff hopes are done. After all, Hoyer is playing for a future contract in the NFL; his days as a starter in Cleveland are certainly numbered with Manziel in the wings.

In week 3, the Ravens came-from-behind to beat the Browns in Cleveland 23-21, a game set to 2-points and resulted in a push. Ravens are 4-3 ATS at home with a 12.0-point margin of victory. It just might be a little too late for Hoyer and the Browns to win, but they could keep this game closer than the NFL odds would suggest.

Free NFL Picks: Browns +9.0

Bills +6.5 vs. Patriots -6.5
Patriots look to close the season on an undefeated record at home and if the NFL odds were any indication, they are 6.5-points away from accomplishing the feat. Patriots are 5-2 ATS at home this season with a 19.7-point margin of victory. They are coming off a narrow 17-16 win over the Jets on the road, albeit failing to cover the hefty 10-point spread. They've covered their last four home games, behind wins over the Bears, Broncos, Lions and Dolphins. A week after beating the Packers, the Bills suffer an embarrassing loss to the Oakland Raiders on the road, a 26-24 loss that snuffed their playoff hopes. All they have left to play for is pride. That and playing spoilers to New England's bid for the AFC top seed.

Free NFL Picks: Patriots -6.5

Jets +5.0 vs. Dolphins -5.0
New York Jets and Miami Dolphins collide in a divisional battle to end their respective seasons. The Jets are coming off a narrow 17-16 home loss to the Patriots, giving the AFC East champions a run for their money as the 10-point road chalk. The Dolphins are coming off a fortunate 37-35 win over the plucky Vikings that saw them clinch the "W" to improve to 8-7 SU, albeit they failed to cover as the 4.5-point home chalk. The last time the pair met, the Dolphins were installed as the 7-point road chalk only to struggle mightily and eke out a 16-13 win. This time they are the 5-point home chalk. The Dolphins are 0-4 ATS in their last four games, but many NFL bettors feel the nail-bitter against the Vikings that snapped their losing streak could be the catalyst to finish the season on a high note. The Jets may not be playing for anything on the season, but they are playing for their future. Dolphins win and Jets cover is how we see this game playing out on the NFL betting floor.

Free NFL Picks:  Jets +5.0

Panthers +2.5 vs. Falcons -2.5
The NFC South title is on the line when the Panthers and Falcons collide in week 17 NFL betting at the Georgia Dome. Matt Ryan and the Falcons moved back into contention for the NFC South title with a big win over the Saints on the road, a convincing 30-14 win that heaped more misery on the Saints at the Superdome, all while installed as the road 6-point underdogs. It's down to the wire now when the Panthers and Falcons collide, winner takes all. Panthers eked out a 17-13 win over the Browns to keep their playoff hopes alive. Both teams have been entirely unpredictable on the season, oscillating between impressive wins and cringing flops. It's a right tossup between these two teams. But if we're to hang our hat on one thing, it would be quarterback play. Matt Ryan has been a better leader than Cam Newton down the stretch. With home advantage and a reasonable NFL spread on the NFL odds board, we like the Falcons to come through on our NFL picks. That being said, don't go betting the farm on it. This division has been a nightmare to predict. Let's just say, we wouldn't be surprised if the Panthers pull it off.

Free NFL Picks: Falcons -2.5

Bears +7.0 vs. Vikings -7.0
The Minnesota Vikings almost pulled off the road upset in Miami, only to have the victory snatched out of their fingers with a punt block that resulted in a safety and lifted the Dolphins to the 37-35 win. Still, the Vikings covered as the 4.5-point road underdogs, marking their fifth straight cover (home and away) on the NFL betting floor. The Vikings look to finish the season strong behind a home win against the Chicago Bears, whose season has been on the decline since Thanksgiving. The Bears have lost four in a row. Although they pulled off the cover as the 10-point home underdogs to the Lions in the last lap of NFL betting, they failed to cover in three previous laps. Still with both teams far from convincing form overall, not to mention prone to making mistakes, a 7-point spread seems a bit high.

Free NFL Picks: Bears +7.0

Chargers +3.0 vs. Chiefs -3.0
Philip Rivers and the Charges rallied to a 38-35 win over the Niners, erasing a 21-point deficit to clinch the win and keep their playoff hopes alive. Chiefs, meanwhile, fell to the Steelers in a 20-12 loss on the road in week 16 NFL betting. Chiefs defense can keep this a close game, which augurs well. Chiefs are 5-2 ATS at home with an 8.7-point margin of victory. Philip Rivers has been clutch for the Chargers offense in recent weeks, save for losses against the Patriots and Broncos that were by and large expected. Not for nothing are Brady and Peyton Manning future Hall of Famers. But that's exactly the problem with Philip Rivers and the Chargers this season. When it comes to beating down or overcoming slow starts against lesser teams, you can count on them. Against solid teams, not so much. The Chiefs have gone through a rough patch lately, but they are set to close their season at Arrowhead. With everything that is on the line,  we like the Chiefs over the Chargers as the 3-point home chalk on our NFL picks.

Free NFL Picks: Chiefs -3.0

Eagles +2.5 vs. Giants -2.5
This is a meaningless game as far as the postseason is concerned with both teams are eliminated from the playoffs. Eagles were only just eliminated thanks to a loss to the Redskins on Saturday and a Cowboys win on Sunday. That might be too much to come to terms with after the start on the season they enjoyed. Giants have had some time to come to terms with their elimination. In fact, they've been playing better ever since, reeling off three straight wins. Home advantage and a nominal spread makes the Giants a good NFL pick in our opinion, not to mention payback for a 27-0 loss in Philadelphia.

Free NFL Picks: Giants -2.5

Cowboys -7.0 vs. Redskins +7.0
The Cowboys boast the best road record this season in the NFL. They are 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS highlighted by a 10.6-point margin of victory. The Washington Redskins, meanwhile, are coming off an improbable 27-24 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday, a belated first win of the season behind RGIII. Overall, they are 2-5 ATS at home with a 7-point margin of defeat. Look for the Cowboys to continue their dominating ways on the road. Betting against the Cowboys on the road has proven folly this season. Why start now?

Free NFL Picks: Cowboys -7.0

Saints -3.5 vs. Bucs +3.5
This is a meaningless game on the NFL odds board in week 17 NFL betting. The Saints were eliminated by the Falcons in a 30-14 loss at the Superdome, their fifth straight loss at home. Saints have been better on the road in the latter half of the season, winning three in a row over Panthers, Steelers and the Bears. It remains to be seen whether they'll be motivated to win this last game, though. Seeing as they let their playoff destiny slip through their fingers in week 16. Bucs have yet to win a home game this season. This is their last shot to do so, against a demoralised Saints team. This could go either way, but we're chancing the Bucs on our NFL picks. Why not.

Free NFL Picks: Bucs +4.5

Rams +10.0 vs. Seahawks -10.0
Seattle Seahawks are back in command in the NFC West and they are a win away from wrapping up the divisional title. Of all the teams, the Seahawks look to be the most complete team down the stretch, proving the maxim: it doesn't matter how well you start but how you finish the race. Seahawks manhandled the Cardinals on Sunday Night Football betting, winning 35-6 and covering as the 9-point road faves. They have home advantage and payback on the agenda in week 17 NFL betting. Rams beat the Seahawks 28-26 earlier this season, an upset that sent seismic shockwaves through NFL betting markets. Look for the Seahawks to burst out of the gates and runaway with this game.

Free NFL Picks: Seahawks -10.0

Cardinals +4.0 vs. Niners -4.0
It may come as a bit of a surprise to some NFL bettors that the Niners are being favoured over the Cardinals, when the former is out of the playoffs while the latter is battling for the NFC West title. The NFL betting spread belies the seasonal record of both teams. That said, the Cardinals are resorting to third-string quarterback Ryan Lindley, who was found seriously wanting in week 16's loss to the Seahawks. Niners may be out of the playoffs but they are a better team on paper than their results indicate. Cardinals defense is good but Ryan Lindley leading the offense is just not up to scruff. Take the Niners on your NFL picks.

Free NFL Picks: Niners -4.0

Raiders +14.5 vs. Broncos 14.5
The Raiders may have eliminated the Bills in week 16, but betting against Peyton Manning and the Broncos at home is an exercise in futility at the best of times. This season they are 3-4 ATS with a 12-point margin of victory at home, but their losses against the spread have come to quality teams. Indeed, the Broncos haven't had the easiest schedule yet they are 7-0 SU at home. Raiders hardly strike an imposing figure, literally and figuratively. They may be 4-3 ATS on the road but they boast a 15-point margin of defeat, thanks to several blowouts on the road. This could be exactly such an occasion.

Free NFL Picks: Broncos -14.5
