With all of the talk about a probable Tom Brady suspension over deflate-gate part two, the AFC future odds are an interesting topic of conversation. Here is a look at Bet365’s NFL Odds for the top four teams to win the AFC this season.

New England Patriots +350
When I was looking around for NFL odds for this article I was interested that Bovada, and a couple other sportsbooks have taken down their AFC Championship odds entirely with the ongoing rumors of a Brady suspension. If that takes place, not only does my Colts to go undefeated article look a lot better, but it makes the AFC a wide open race, with several teams in the running. However I can’t think that the NFL will suspend Brady for long, considering they have TV money in mind. Even if Brady does get suspended, I doubt it will be more than four games, and that may be a stretch. They are likely still the best team in the conference though.

Indianapolis Colts +500
However their main competition, the Colts, probably love this news right now. Even though people are crapping on their draft, the Colts pose the biggest threat to the Patriots this season. If they can get their defense to play like it did at the beginning of the 2014 regular season, this team might not just be able to take the #1 spot in the AFC, but they might be able to win it. The Frank Gore and Andre Johnson signings moves this offense to another level if they can both stay healthy. They added depth on the offensive line to help out Andrew Luck, and they added Kendall Langford in free agency as well to help their pass rush. Overall if the Patriots are without their starting quarterback for a few games, the Colts are the team to look at for your NFL picks for a price of 5/1.

Denver Broncos +550
The Broncos offseason is kind of a push for me. They lost their coach and brought in Gary Kubiak, which is ok, but definitely not the most ideal situation. They still have Peyton Manning and were able to franchise tag Demaryius Thomas, but they lost Julius Thomas and they replaced him with Owen Daniels, which is not the greatest substitute. Some losses on the defense line added onto that, and the Broncos seem like the same old team that faded at the end of the regular season. Who knows what you’re going to get from Manning this season, and with all of that considered, the Broncos might be slightly overvalued here.

Baltimore Ravens +900
Other than some questions as to whom exactly Joe Flacco is throwing the ball to this season, the Ravens look like a team that can compete for the AFC again this season. Their division is tough, but if they can get to nine or ten wins this season, that may be enough to assure them a home game in the first round. At +900 to win the AFC they are pretty appropriately priced, and if someone is able to step up for them at receiver alongside Steve Smith, this team should not be undervalued both in the NFL odds this season, or the future odds this summer.
