Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets
Thursday, October 01 – 8:20 PM EDT at MetLife Stadium
It's Thursday night football for the Broncos and Jets, which means not much preparation after Sunday’s matchup. These two teams haven’t faced each other since 2018 when the Jets shut down Denver in MetLife Stadium 34-16.
The Broncos haven’t been off to a great 0-3 start and neither have the 0-3 Jets so this could be a good game for the both of them. Though, the Broncos have kept their games a lot closer in points than the Jets have, except for last week when Denver lost 28-10 to Tampa. Still, that's a lot better than the Jets’ embarrassing 7-36 loss to the Colts. In that game, QB Sam Darnold was picked off three times and two of those interceptions were returned for touchdowns.
What the Broncos have going for them is their defense despite the injury spell. They also don’t have a locked-in starting QB in place of Drew Lock yet. And the Jets? Well, nobody is sure. But what we do know is that Adam Gase needs to save his job and his team has got to be sick of losing.
The Jets are the underdogs at home by a +2½ point spread at one of the best sportsbooks in the game, BookMaker. Take it while it's hot.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Carolina Panthers
Sunday, October 04 –1:00 PM EDT at Bank of America Stadium
You know, I didn’t think the Carolina Panthers had it in them to beat the LA Chargers without Christian McCaffrey in the backfield but I am impressed with them and especially their secondary. They finally ended their 10-game losing streak on the West Coast.
Now, the Arizona Cardinals (2-1) travel to the east coast to face the Panthers (1-2) in Week 4.
The Cardinals are coming off of an unexpected and close loss to the Detroit Lions 26-23 on their home turf, failing to cover for the first time this season. The under hit for the third week in a row with Arizona whose defense is allowing just 20.2 points per game.
The Panthers were six-point underdogs on the road at SoFi Stadium in LA. They won 21-16 in their first full game without their superstar RB who is nursing an ankle injury. The defense was able to step up when they needed to and they just might do it again, but they’ll have to stop DeAndre Hopkins.
Fans will be in attendance for this home game in Charlotte, but Kliff Kingsbury wants to get back to his perfect start and a few fans in the stands won’t matter.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tennessee Titans
Sunday, October 04 1:00 PM EDT at Nissan Stadium
The Steelers are coming off of a nice 21-28 win against Houston and now they’ll head to Tennessee as a 2-point favorite against the Titans.
The Titan’s defense has been able to make some big plays but nothing too consistent. Their secondary is struggling and their run defense is nowhere to be found. This makes for a scary matchup against the Lers considering Ben Roethlisberger is back in his prime with James Conner.
Titan’s start RB Derrick Henry is coming off his best game of the season so far having 119 rushing yards and two touchdowns. PK Stephen Gostkowski is hitting black finally and went 6-for-6 on field-goal attempts against the Vikings.
Pittsburgh can hold Derrick Henry on the ground, but the Titans will have to figure out how to stop a furious pass rush that leads the league with 15 sacks.
Good luck Tennessee.

Buffalo Bills vs. Las Vegas Raiders
Sunday, October 04 4:25 PM EDT at Allegiant Stadium
How about them Bills huh? Josh Allen is making Fantasy teams proud as he emerges as a top QB and the Bills have a chance to start the first quarter of the season with a perfect 4-0 record against the Raiders this Sunday.
The new and improved Raiders lost miserably to Cam Newton and the New England Patriots 36-20. But maybe they can find their silver lining this weekend back home.
The Bills may have won on Sunday but they pulled a Falcon and lost their 28-3 lead when LA came back into the game with a 32-28 lead with just 4:30 on the clock. Buffalo wasn’t having it though. They came back to win after a (controversial) defensive pass interference call in their favor and capped off the final drive with a touchdown with only 15 seconds remaining.
The Bills are built similar to the Patriots. The Raiders' secondary won’t be able to keep up Stefon Diggs all over the field, nor will their run defense with Josh Allen and Devin Singletary.
New England Patriots vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Sunday, October 04, 2020 - 04:25 PM EDT at Arrowhead Stadium
The Chiefs reminded everyone who the best team in the league was on Monday night with a 34-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Mahomes handled Baltimore’s defense completing 73.8% of his passes for 385 yards and 4 scores. He also added 26 yards and a touchdown on the ground. With this road victory, the young QB improves to a perfect 10-0 career in September throwing 32 touchdowns in those contests. He also made history becoming the fastest quarterback in the league to reach 10,000 passing yards in just 34 games.
The Chiefs’ offense played their part racking up 517 total yards and converting on 10-of-13 third downs. The Chiefs are now on a 12-game winning streak and are 10-1-1 against the spread.
The Patriots are coming off of a blowout torching the Raiders 36-20. The Pats racked in 250 yards on the ground and two scores. Cam Newton didn’t have much prediction himself, only running for only 27 yards, a week after rushing for 47 yards and two scores in Seattle.
The Chiefs have every position covered in weapons on offense, the Pats will have to focus on their defense. Then again, we saw how well that went for Baltimore.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Green Bay Packers
Monday , October 05 – 8:15 PM EDT at Lambeau Field
The seat is hot as ever for Falcons’ head coach Dan Quinn after blowing yet another back-to-back lead in Week 3. Though he’s not getting fired just yet since the team has his back. But how long will that last?
The Falcons head to Lambeau Field for a showdown against the undefeated Green Bay Packers.
Atlanta hopes they’ll have Julio Jones back from a hamstring injury as if it’ll make a huge difference. And the Packers will hope the same from Davante Adams, but as we saw on Sunday it doesn’t matter—they have Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones will light up the offense and Atlanta’s wilting defense will have to keep up. You’ll see Matt Ryan and Calvin Ridley try to do the same on their end, but it won’t be enough especially without their Jones.
I have given up on Atlanta right now. The Pack is back and Dan Quinn loses his job.
