Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all! It’s a stacked card of NFL action here on Saturday, which means it’s time to bust out some of our best prop betting picks of the day.

Matt Ryan O/U 295 ½ passing yards

Matt Ryan and company have a tough matchup against a surging Panthers team this week and the game has a ton of playoff implications for the Falcons. They need a win here, but they also have a chance to play from behind.

The Falcons have been amazing on offense over the last few weeks, but against a couple of poor defenses. Now they head into Carolina against a defense that has not only given up a ton of passing yards this season, but they have also been playing better as of late.

However, I see that playing into the hands of Ryan’s passing yards total. He dropped one of the best games of his career earlier in the season against Carolina and last week the Panthers gave up yet another 300-plus yard passing game. That’s the third game out of four that the Panthers have given up 315 passing yards.

With the Panthers playing better, though, if they get a lead that should seal the deal for the over here. Julio Jones put in a full practice to finish the week, which helps out Ryan’s prospects, so combined in this big game against a questionable secondary, take the over for your NFL picks.

Tyrell Williams O/U 62 ½ receiving yards

The Chargers haven’t had a lot to be happy about this season, but one bright spot for them is their young receiver, Tyrell Williams. Williams is turning into Phillip Rivers’ number one target and for good reason. He’s 6’4, fast, shifty and has a talent for catching the deep ball.

With his yards total depressed some after his poor showing last week, I think it’s a perfect opportunity to take the over here. One of those deep balls is all it will take for Williams in this one and considering they are against the Browns, the defense might be easy to beat.

The biggest thing going for Williams in this one is his targets. He got 10 last week despite only catching four of them and he has double-digit targets in three of his last four games.

It is a bit concerning that the Browns have been better against receivers over their last two games, but even if the Browns are playing with the lead in what could be their last chance at a win, the Chargers should be equally motivated not to be the team on the other side of a Browns win.
