Check out our comprehensive breakdown as we round up Week 10's NFL results, look back at the NFL odds betting trends by the numbers.

NFL Week 10 Main Highlights
Another week filled with eyebrow-raising upsets, stalwart heavyweight performances and close gridiron battles is behind us; most notably, the Browns and Niners defied the odds as road pups, Jets punch above their weight class, the Broncos, Packers and Seahawks traipsed to double-digit wins, and the Raiders' winless season extends through another week of NFL Betting Odds.

NFL Week 10 Betting Results
Favorites enjoyed a commanding week, going 8-4 SU and ATS over underdogs. Home teams, however, went 6-6 SU and ATS against road teams all while the over-under split down the middle 6-6 at the close of Sunday's card.

NFL Overall Results
Favorites lead underdogs 99-48-1 SU and 74-68-4 ATS through ten weeks of NFL betting. Home teams have cashed 85-60-1 SU but 71-72-3 ATS at the expense of away teams. Finally, over edges under betting 77-66-3.

Thursday Night Football Recap
For a second straight week, Thursday Night Football betting saw the under edge the over in total betting. More importantly, it served the first big upset of Week 10 when the Browns cashed as the 6-point road underdogs and the +220 SU underdogs at the expense of the Bengals in a 24-3 win. Overall, Thursday betting has gone 7-3 over-under through ten weeks and the Browns have cashed on the under in their last five games.

Home Sweet Home
Home edge proved a charm for the Jets, Lions, Ravens, Seahawks, Cardinals and Packers. Jets snapped an eight-game losing streak when they delivered the shocking 20-13 win over the Steelers, all while dubbed as the 4-point home pups and the +185 SU underdogs. Lions, once again pulled off a Houdini win, surging late in the game to beat the Dolphins 20-16, covering as the -2.5-point home favorites. Meanwhile, Arizona Cardinals (7-point faves) cruised to a 31-17 win over the St. Louis Rams; Ravens (opening as 9.5-point faves but moving up to 10-points at closing time) crushed the Titans 21-7; and, finally, the Seahawks stomped to a 38-17 win over the Giants, to cash as the 9-point faves and stop a four-game ATS slide.

Sunday's late game between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears was the cherry on top, a one-sided win that underscores home edge in no uncertain terms. Packers, who opened as nominal 7-point faves and where they pretty much remained for the most part of the week, slaughtered the Bears at Lambeau field 55-14, making a mockery of the soft 7-point NFL betting spread rolled out across sports betting exchanges.

Road Favorites
Denver Broncos exorcised the demons of week 9 with a straightforward 41-17 win over the hapless Raiders on Sunday. Opening as the 11-point road faves but systematically bet up to 12-points or thereabouts at closing time, Broncos were the biggest road faves in Week 10 NFL betting. Peyton Manning enjoyed a five-touchdown afternoon on the west coast.

Also cashing on the road as the favorites were the Cowboys (7.5-points) with a 31-17 win over the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London; the Falcons (1-point faves or thereabouts depending on your sportsbook of choice) in a 27-17 win over the Bucs; and the Chiefs, who stormed back from a 13-3 deficit to the Bills to score two touchdowns and take the 17-13 win on the road as the nominal 1-point road faves. It's worth pointing out, however, late NFL betting action coming down the wire forced bookies to jump fence on this game as the Bills emerged as the 1-point-ish home faves near to closing time.

Underdogs Punch Above Their Weight Class
Along with the Browns and Jets, the Niners punched above their perceived weight class in Week 10 NFL Picks when they beat the Saints 27-24 in overtime, marking the biggest underdogs to cash. Niners defied the NFL odds and dealt the Saints their first home defeat since 2012. At early doors, they were matched as the 4.5-point road pups, only to be bet up to a high of 5.5-points by closing doors.

Total Betting
Total betting was split down the middle by the end of Sunday's round of NFL action. After the Browns and Bengals' 27-point affair on Thursday, the Ravens and Titans produced the lowest combined score on Sunday at 28-points, falling well below the 44-point total set by bookies. Chiefs and Bills settled on 30-points combined in their low-scoring 17-13 game, also  going under the 41-point total set. While the Lions and Dolphins combine for 36-points in their 20-16 affair, coming significantly under the 43.5-point total set. The most surprising scoreline was delivered by the Jets and Steelers. After Big Ben's run of three explosive performances, the 20-13 scoreline proved to be a curveball few NFL bettors could have predicted. Indeed, bookies had this game nestled on a 45.5-point total or thereabouts.

On the flipside, Broncos are riding a 6-game run going OVER in total betting, which includes covering the 49-point total on last week's NFL odds board. Seattle have gone 4-1-0 over-under in their last five games and the Packers are a staggering 8-1-0 in over-under betting this season. Indeed, their 55-14 win over the Bears saw them singlehandedly cover the 53.5-point total set for the game.
