It is time for my Week 5 NFL picks to prepare for football betting. You might have your sides and total wagered on or know who you want, now let look at possibilities for parlays this weekend.

While I have been great on NFL video picks and Teaser articles here at, I have come up short on parlays and will look to correct that this Sunday.

When I checked out the NFL betting odds at A-rated Intertops ($200 signup bonus), discovered three elements I really like for Week 5.

2-Team Parlay - Bills (+2) and Chargers (+3.5)

For NFL week 5 picks, I am convinced Buffalo will beat Los Angeles outright. The Rams have won three in a row with no running and an offense was is dead lost in the NFL in yards per game. With Rex Ryan and his brother's love of the blitz, I see them coming hard after Case Keenum and would not be shocked to see the smallish quarterback throw a couple passes which could be intercepted or him fumbling when hit. With the Rams 2-12 ATS after allowing 400 or more total yards in two consecutive games, I'll back Buffalo.

Expect to take a great deal of grief on this one, nevertheless, San Diego is three plays away from being 4-0 SU and ATS. I understand teams lose for reasons, but with Oakland a deplorable home favorite and the underdog 13-1 ATS the past seven seasons, I view this as a very close rivalry battle.

3-Team Parlay - Steelers (-7) - Broncos (-5) - Lions (+3)

If correct, looking at 6-1 payout, not too shabby. Pittsburgh looked like the Steelers against Kansas City, pushing the ball down the field and being aggressive defensively. The Jets are dealing with Ryan Fitzpatrick, who recently had more picks than what the guitar player for Coldplay uses. Pittsburgh is 23-7 ATS at home after gaining 6.5 or more yards per play in their previous game.

Atlanta is averaging 38 points per game, but now has to play at altitude. Where this ends up hurting them is Denver wanting to run the ball against a Falcons squad permitting 31 PPG. I see this being an issue of Atlanta wearing down and the secondary and pass rush too much for Matt Ryan to overcome.

Here is one last head-shaker. I have read a great deal about how good Philadelphia is and how terrible Detroit is. Taking those assessments at face value, why are the Eagles only a three-point favorite then? This will stun bettors.

4-Team Money Line Parlay

Normally on money line parlays, I prefer favorites which reduce risk. However, in this case, I truly believe Miami and Los Angeles are very beatable at home and have already made bets on Tennessee and Buffalo accordingly. New England and Denver are virtual locks in my opinion to win their games.

Titans - Patriots - Broncos - Bills

If correct, a $100 bet currently should pay $825 and change, which is really nice payout.
