We are adding two more NFL picks to our packed collection for Week 7 of the regular season.

St. Louis Rams vs. Carolina Panthers

The Rams have looked excellent over the last couple of weeks, but we're taking the Panthers to cover this weekend.

St. Louis is coming off consecutive double-digit victories, as they topped Jacksonville 34-20 and then embarrassed the Texans in Houston with a 38-13 beat-down. The Rams easily covered against the spread in both wins, but are still just 2-4 ATS on the season.

We don't want to read too much into St. Louis' recent resurgence.

For one, their opponents weren't exactly the most elite out there. Jacksonville's the worst team in the NFL and Houston has been beyond bad as well. Overall, the Rams are ranked #29 in total offense and #23 in total defense, so they still have a lot of work to do.

As for the Panthers, they've got to be feeling good after destroying Minnesota 35-10 as 2.5-point underdogs in Week 6. Cam Newton was dominant and the Panthers defense made life a living hell for Matt Cassel.

If you weren't aware, Carolina's defense has been superb, ranking #4 against the run (88.8 YPG allowed) and #27 against the pass (210.4 YPG), giving them a total defense ranking of number three in the NFL.

The last time the Panthers were at home, they shut out the Giants in a 38-0 win. While we expect a closer game than that this Sunday, we do think Carolina secures the convincing win.

Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins

In two meetings between these teams last season, the ‘Under’ hit the mark both times, with final scores of 24-10 (O/U of 43.5) and 19-14 (46). We are going with the same total play this weekend, as NFL odds makers have posted a line of 43.5.

Miami should be prepared after a BYE week and they get to face an inexperienced quarterback in Thad Lewis.

Lewis was effective in his first NFL start last week, but that came at home. It could be a different story against a motivated Dolphins defense that will try to rebound after some shaky performances already this season. We look for Buffalo to take some of the pressure off Lewis by feeding the ball to C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson as much as possible.

On the other side, Miami has really struggled to establish their run game this season, but this matchup is about as good of a chance as they're going to get to do so. The Bills rank #26 against the run, so the Dolphins would be wise to get Lamar Miller going early so the field can open up for Ryan Tannehill.

All in all, this is a situation that seems, to us at least, to set up nicely for a low-scoring divisional battle. That's proven true the last two times these rivals have met up.

So, despite the fact the ‘Over’ has gone 4-2 for Buffalo and 4-1 in Miami's games this season, we are looking towards the ‘Under’ with our sports picks for Week 7. The ‘Over’ has hit in four straight for the Dolphins, but the streak has to come to an end eventually and now is as good of a time as any.
