NFL Betting - False Favorites and Top Dogs For Week 11

Miami Dolphins cheerleaders in action

After a couple of below average weeks for betting NFL football for this article rebounded with a winning week and sent a record to 20-9-1 ATS for the season.

Though my actual percentage went down even though I won two of three, that just shows how well we have done for NFL picks this season.

With 14 games having NFL odds to choose from this week, went to at A-rated Intertops, where they have great first-time bonus sign ups, and picked apart the board in hopes of a 3-0 week.

False Favorite - Colts Winning Streaks Ends

The Indianapolis Colts are the New York Giants without a defense. Indianapolis is 30th in total defense and allow 57 more yards a game and 5.9 PPG than what their opponents have averaged on the season. Because of Andrew Luck and some talented receivers, the Colts offense very much resembles Eli Manning and his team. However, at some point, Indy's luck just runs out, literally. The Colts are 10-0 SU and 8-1-1 ATS recently against, however, the Titans are learning how to win and with the offense in sync against a weak defense, Tennessee is 12-3 ATS after scoring 30 points or more in consecutive games.

Top Dog - Miami Downs Los Angeles

The thought for the last few years has been Miami should be better than how they have played. While the Dolphins don't have great talent at all levels, they certainly have enough to be at least capable of winning nine games and first-year head coach Adam Gase has established a physical identity which has added toughness to this team, which it sorely needed. Gase was also quick to identify QB Ryan Tannehill's strengths and weaknesses like he did with Jay Cutler in Chicago last year, and Tannehill has stabilized. Los Angeles has its defense playing extremely well, but the offense is a hot mess and there is no end in sight with Case Keenum at the helm. Jeff Fisher used to be a very good head coach but not anymore and his Rams are 1-8 ATS after a win by three or fewer points. Miami by 9.

Top Dog - Ravens Give Dallas Rough Time

I can hear you already, "You are nuts" and you might be right. Dallas is 8-0 SU and ATS since losing opener by a single point in Dak Prescott's very first game. He's become the leader of the franchise and has everyone's support, but Baltimore has the NFL's top defense and is also No. 1 against the run having permitted more than 65 yards on the ground twice. For coach John Harbaugh, this is about competition, your best against my best and sells his team on underdog role. With the Ravens off a division victory, they are 22-11 ATS in next outing and make this a four-point outcome.
