With The Ravens getting creative on finding new ways to lose they are now in collision course with the troubled NY Jets. How should you bet this game? here's our NFL pick

The Ravens seem to find ways to lose. Late game collapses and/or an inability to close out games are some of the reasons why they are riding a three-game losing streak. Offense (or lack thereof) is another issue too, as are the injuries to the secondary that is sure to give John Harbaugh some headaches ahead of this clash. Word is Flacco might be slightly injured but he’s expected to start on Sunday.

These aren’t happy times for Jets fans and one feels for them. Todd Bowles and the Jets sport a four-game losing streak, underscored by the recent blowout in the desert on Monday Night Football. There’s no late-game dramas for these fans. Heck, no drama at all. The Jets et al are simply MIA, both offense and defense is doing nothing to avoid double-digit defeats. They’ve averaged about 11 points per game scored and they were outscored 36 to 110 over the course of these four games.

Given the pair are riding losing streaks into week 7, the hosts do emerge as the home chalk laying -2 or more points depending on your choice top-rated sportsbook. That doesn’t mean the Jets are the better week 7 bet or bookies expect the home win.  It’s mostly down to home advantage. (It’s worth pointing out the Ravens are playing a second straight week at MetLife so home advantage might be cancelled out some.)

In any event, these are two unpredictable teams and this game could technically go either way. The Jets might turn things around at MetLife on Sunday but don’t go betting the farm on it.  For our money, the Ravens plus the points is just too tempting to ignore.
