The New York Jets are a surprising 4-1 as they come off a big win over Washington, and they're ready for this massive AFC East showdown with New England.
Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -10 +100 at Pinnacle
The Patriots opened up as a 10-point favorite on the NFL odds, then the line fell all the way to -8.5 before moving up a little to -9. New England had troubles with the Colts in the first half before pulling away, although they were seriously helped by Indianapolis' mind-boggling fake-punt call that went awry. The Jets have the #1 defense in the league in yards allowed and points scored per game, and they're second against the pass. They also have Darrelle Revis, who might still be the best cornerback in the game and played for the Patriots last season as they won the Super Bowl. But the Patriots are the Patriots, and they'll be ready to go on Sunday.

For the Jets, CB Buster Skrine is up in the air due to a concussion and if he doesn't practice, he won't play on Sunday. WR Quincy Enunwa is suspended for the next four games for violating the NFL's personal-conduct policy as well.
On the New Englanad side of the ball, WR Brandon LaFell was at practice for the first time this year because of a foot injury, but he probably won't play this week. C Bryan Stork is trying to work his way back from a concussion, while DE Jabaal Sheard (ankle) and G Marcus Cannon (toe) weren't at practice. Also, watch out for LB Dont'a Hightower, who missed last week's game with bad ribs.
The Jets have covered the spread in seven of their last eight games, including four of their last five on the road. The Patriots are 5-1-1 in their last seven ATS, and they're 14-5-1 in their last 20 at home.
The Patriots have won eight of their last 10 in this AFC East rivalry, but have covered in just four games. They have the same records SU and ATS in their last 10 at home against the Jets.
