Let's review the betting odds for the clash between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys in this Week 1 NFL match-up.

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

This is a tough divisional game for both teams. and our NFL picks should be considered carefully here.

The Giants should be strong this year, Eli will have both of his favorite targets back and the defense has gotten younger and faster, but a patch work offensive line is not a good thing against a ferocious Cowboys defense. Andre Brown will be out for 4-6 weeks and with Ahmed Bradshaw in Indianapolis David Wilson will have to carry the load himself.

Dallas is running out of chances, after back to back 8-8 years the Cowboys are starting to feel the pressure. Combine that with the fact that Dallas has not beaten New York in “Jerry’s World” this is a game the Cowboys simply have to have. Dallas is a team of veterans that may be finally putting the pieces together and it all starts with a win at home against their arch rival.

Neither team impressed in the preseason but Dallas showed a little more cohesiveness. With the injuries to the O line in New York and a hungry Dallas defense, Dallas could and should win this game by double digits.
