After blowing two fourth-quarter leads, the New York Giants finally made one count when they defeated Washington. Buffalo stomped Miami on the road to go to 2-1.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -5.5 -105 at Pinnacle
The Bills opened up as the NFL odds favorite by 5.5 points at home, and it has since moved to make Buffalo a 6-point favorite, which is fair. The Bills have only lost to New England, who looks unstoppable right now, and the Giants have barely shown they could be trusted because while a win is a win, they should have beaten Washington. Not to mention the two blown leads that should have them undefeated; that all matters at the sportsbooks.

Injuries
WR Victor Cruz wants to play after being able to practice this week as his calf hasn't allowed him on the field yet, and that is great news because things are getting dire for the Giants out wide. They're trying out Wes Welker, Hakeem Nicks and TE Chris Cooley this week as they try and take some of the pressure off Odell Beckham Jr., who is getting tons of attention from the opposition. CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and T Ereck Flowers are still dealing with concussion and ankle issues, respectively, so that is something to watch throughout the week.

On the Bills' injury front, they're thinking about sitting RB LeSean McCoy, who hasn't been 100% all season because of his hamstring, while WR Sammy Watkins might also miss this game because of his calf. That robs QB Tyrod Taylor of two big weapons, although Karlos Williams can step in for McCoy in the backfield.

Trends
The Giants have managed to cover in five of their last seven games, and they're 5-5 ATS in their last 10 road games, although they're 4-6 SU. The Bills are 7-2 ATS in their last nine overall, and they've covered the spread in four of their last five games at home.

The Giants have been pretty good in Buffalo, splitting their four games SU and covering in three of those games, while the two have met nine times since 1987. The Bills are 5-4 SU, but 3-5-1 ATS. They've gone over the total in five meetings.
