We serve up winners and losers for week 8 NFL betting matchups in this weekly, game-by-game predictions column. Find out which teams we’re backing on our money line NFL picks.

Week 7 NFL Betting Recap In Money Line NFL Picks
We are riding a three-week winning streak with our NFL picks in money line markets to improve to 59-46-0 in seven weeks and 105 games predicted. Last week, we just broke even with a 7-7 SU record (See Table 1).

Let’s see if we can keep this winning streak going with our NFL predictions for week 8, a slate filled with some intriguing matchups. Keep in mind that these presented NFL picks are locked in on the NFL betting lines reflected in the pick itself. NFL odds and lines continue to move throughout the week.

Here goes…

Dolphins vs. Patriots
Dan Campbell’s coaching career is off to a bright start with two blowout wins in a row, outscoring opponents 82-to-36. It’s one thing to beat up struggling teams such as the Titans and Texans. Another matter entirely to attempt to take down the defending Super Bowl champions New England Patriots, who also happen to be undefeated on the season with a 6-0 SU mark. Not to mention own a whopping 26-7 SU record against divisional opponents since 2010 that includes a 10.6-point winning margin. It remains to be seen whether Campbell can inspire the Dolphins to the win. Consider they haven’t beaten the Patriots at Gillette Stadium in the last five meetings on the road.

NFL Picks: Patriots -345 at 5Dimes

Lions vs. Chiefs
Ugh. Two hugely disappointing teams collide in London this weekend for a game that probably has little consequence on the season proper. Lions (1-6 SU) and the Chiefs (2-5 SU) have as much chance of reaching the playoffs as this article has to win a Pulitzer. Making matters somewhat worse is the fact that the Detroit Lions fired offensive co-ordinator Joe Lombardi and line coaches Jeremiah Washburn and Terry Heffernan on Monday following the home loss to the Minnesota Vikings in week 7 and right ahead of their trip to London where a date with the struggling Kansas City Chiefs awaits them on Sunday. Are they merely panicking or hoping to replicate a touch of the Dan Campbell magic in Miami. The Chiefs, meanwhile, are coming off their second win of the season, snapping a five-game losing streak. So they won. Whoppee. They are still essentially the same disappointing team that’s been punching below expectations. All in all, this is a right tossup on our NFL picks. The Chiefs emerge as the favorites on the NFL odds board, but at NFL odds upwards of -200 we’re think that’s a lot of money to put down on a team that is just 2-5 SU on the season. The Lions are nothing to write home about either with their 1-6 SU record, but they might benefit from the coaching shakedown just like the Dolphins did two weeks ago. Small stake here for your NFL picks or just give it a skip if you’re not buying what either team is selling right now.

NFL Picks: Lions +210

Cardinals vs. Browns
The Arizona Cardinals are 5-2 SU, bouncing back into the win column behind a 26-18 win over the hapless Ravens at home in MNF. The Browns slipped to a second straight loss in as many weeks in St. Louis, a game that proved to be the let-down game most sports betting analysts predicted. Josh McCown is banged up, which means the NFL odds are off the board for this game. It remains to be seen whether he starts or the Johnny Manziel Era gets underway in Cleveland. Either way one has to like what Carson Palmer and the Cardinals bring to the table.

NFL Picks: Cardinals -208 at Pinnacle

Bengals vs. Steelers
The Bengals have delivered at the cash window for their backers through the first seven weeks of the NFL season. No surprise then most are backing them on their NFL picks to do so again in week 8 NFL betting. They are 6-0 SU and coming off a bye week, looking to improve to a perfect 7-0 SU record and take a commanding lead over the AFC North division. The Steelers are 4-3 SU after slipping to a defeat in Kansas City. On the bright side, Big Ben may be ready to return to lead his Steelers to winning ways this weekend. The Andy Dalton of the past is just 2-6 SU against the Steelers in his career, which underscores Big Ben’s importance to this clash. The Andy Dalton of 2015 may very well buck that trend.

NFL Picks: Steelers +113 at 5Dimes

Vikings vs. Bears
The NFC North clash between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears features on the weekend’s slate, with the Vikings coming off their first road win in six outings and the Bears coming off a bye week. It’s important not to overstate the Vikings winning in Detroit last weekend, simply because the Lions are awful this season and they’ve only gone on a firing spree immediately after the loss. The Bears, meanwhile, are coming off a bye week and have won two of their last three games. Ironically, the 37-34 loss came to the Lions in week 6 NFL betting on the road. Consecutive road games are tough to handle for the best teams, never mind modest teams such as the Vikings currently are behind a 4-2 SU record.

Giants vs. Saints
The Giants returned to winning form with a morale-boosting 27-20 win over the Cowboys, which went some way towards exorcising the demons from week 1’s collapse in Dallas. The Saints, meanwhile, flipped the script on everybody by reeling off a two-game winning streak, giving way to the notion they might be on the comeback trail in the NFC South and ready to give the Falcons and Panthers a run for their money down the stretch. It’s an uphill battle in the NFC South, make no mistake. However, a win over the Giants would go a long way towards pressing that point home.

NFL Picks: Saints -160

Chargers vs. Ravens
The Chargers and Ravens appeared to be a heavyweight clash when the schedule first came out, but after the pair’s struggles this season it’s not so anymore. The Chargers are 2-5 SU and propping up the AFC West. The Ravens are 1-6 SU and propping up the AFC North. Both are coming off losses in week 7 NFL betting. One thing is certain, one side will return back into the win column in week 8 NFL betting. Baltimore have home advantage and that’s just about all that has us convinced they’ll get back into the win column. That and the fact that the Chargers flatter to deceive from season to season.

NFL Picks: Ravens -175

Niners vs. Rams
Reports that Colin Kaepernick has lost the locker room aren’t encouraging at all, especially if you’re one of those NFL betting fans hoping for a bounce back performance in week 8 against a second straight divisional opponent. Niners lost to the Seahawks badly last Thursday, an unforgettable 20-3 loss that marked the Niners fifth loss in the last six games and brings out Kaepernick’s critics in full force. Niners are 2-5 SU on the season, which includes a 0-3 SU record on the road. That said the Rams have been an up-and-down team through six games, coming away with a 3-3 SU record, which includes a 2-1 SU record at home and no winning streak to hang your hat on. The only streak they managed was a back-to-back losing streak with losses to the Redskins and Steelers. They are after a 24-6 win over the Browns at home and looking to build their first winning streak of the season. In more ways than one this is a tough game to call, as divisional games can be. It’s possible the Niners bounce back and the Rams regress yet again.

Bucs vs. Falcons
The Bucs collapsed spectacularly against the Washington Redskins in week 7 NFL betting, allowing Kirk Cousins and the Redskins to erase a 24-point deficit, marking the largest comeback in the history of Washington’s franchise, to steal the narrow 31-30 win. For a second straight week, the Bucs are hitting the road. Call it a hunch but this could be a let-down spot for the Bucs. Back-to-back road games is tough for any NFL team, let alone one that is rebuilding. What’s more, getting over the bitter disappointment is going to take some doing by rookie quarterback Jameis Winston. Falcons are 6-1 SU and 3-0 SU at home. The last three weeks have been tough for the Falcons with a lucky break against the Redskins to win 25-19 in OT courtesy of a Cousins pick-6; a loss to the Saints 31-21 on the road and an ugly 10-7 win over the Titans in week 7 NFL betting on the road. Look for the Falcons to continue benefitting from an easy NFL schedule as they take the home win over the Bucs.

NFL Picks: Falcons -310

Titans vs. Texans
The Titans and Texans collide in a game that strikes a rather unattractive pose in NFL betting circles. The Titans are riding a five-game losing streak ahead of this clash and could be without their No.2 draft pick Marcus Mariota when they descend on Houston. Bill O’Brien and the Texans are in the hot seat after the debacle in Miami last weekend. Brian Hoyer was subpar during the first half of the game, although he did lead a small rally in the second half. Letting go of Ryan Mallet on Monday after failing to catch the flight to Miami with his teammates, amongst other things. Things aren’t looking very bright in Houston. Clearly this is a game that is up for grabs by either side. Question is which team is going to step up? Small edge to the Texans at home for our NFL picks, even though the NFL odds are yet to be released.

Jets vs. Raiders
This game has many NFL bettors divided. The Jets are 4-2 SU this season, coming off a really good account against the Patriots despite losing. The Raiders stunned the Chargers – not to mention NFL bettors – with a whopping 37-29 win over the Chargers, a week after coming off a bye.. For the Raiders they are back at home this week following a short trip to San Diego and buoyed by the road which improves them to a decent 3-3 SU record. The Jets are on the road for a second straight week and faced with a long trek to Oakland. Raiders are 1-2 SU at home and still a beatable side in the eyes of many NFL bettors. Jets’ defense is nothing to sniff at and will give Derek Carr something to think about. This should be a close game as indicated by the tight NFL betting odds.

NFL Picks: Jets -128 at Heritage

Seahawks vs. Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys are riding a four-game losing streak since Tony Romo’s injury in week 2 against the Eagles. Things aren’t looking up either with Romo’s recovery not going as well as expected and the continued absence of Dez Bryant. Matt Cassel, who stepped in for Brandon Weeden, didn’t live up to expectations as the Cowboys slipped to a 27-20 loss to the Giants on the road. Seahawks finally got into the win column on the road with a 20-3 win over the Niners in week 7. With a Cowboys side looking ripe for the taking and a long week to prepare, the Seahawks look like the choice NFL pick to win SU.

NFL Picks: Seahawks -280

Packers vs. Broncos
This game is sure to answer once and for all whether the Broncos are a viable 6-0 SU team or if it’s all smoke and mirrors. No secret that the defense has kept the Broncos perfect on the season with Peyton Manning being a touch patchy up to this point. But the Broncos are coming off a bye week and they’ll be at home where they have a solid record, including winning ten straight regular season games going back to the start of last season. The Packers are much loved by the NFL betting public, but the reality is they don’t travel as well as they play at home. Well, that is, based on past NFL betting trends – for instance, last season, they went 4-4 SU on the road. This term they are 2-0 SU on the road with an 11-point winning margin, thanks to wins over the Bears and Niners. They could potentially continue their strong form at the expense of the Broncos in week 8 NFL betting, but can we really bet against the Broncos at home?

NFL Picks: Broncos +140 at WillHill

Colts vs. Panthers
The Carolina Panthers are serving notice this season with a 6-0 SU record through almost the first half of the NFL season. They really turned naysayers into believers when they not only upset the Seahawks on the road, but backed it up with a solid win over the Eagles in primetime football in week 7 NFL betting. For a second straight week, the Panthers feature in a primetime showdown when they take on the Colts, who are enjoying a two-game losing streak behind back-to-back home losses to the Patriots and Saints. There’s nothing to suggest Andrew Luck and the Colts are on the verge of sparking to life here, so we’re taking the team that is rolling through the schedule with a verve and swagger and consistently cashing at the betting window.

NFL Picks: Panthers -280
