Monday Night Football Prop Bets

Allen Over 35.5 rushing yards (-114)

The Bills QB will take on the NFL’s third-ranked pass defense when the Patriots arrive at Highmark Stadium on Monday. The forecast states that this game will be played in heavy rain and generally messy conditions, so the Bills will need to be able to grind out yards on the ground.

Allen has been Buffalo’s most dependable rushing threat this year. Just two QBs, Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts, have more rushing yards than him. He rushed for 43 yards against the Saints in Week 12, and he has gone Over 35.5 yards in six of 11 games this season. The Pats allow 115.3 rushing yards per game.

Jones Under 207.5 passing yards (-114)

The Bills have the third-ranked pass defense by ypg, so it could be a difficult night for Jones in wintry conditions.

He is averaging 237.5 ypg this season, which is 30 more than his prop total for this game. However, just one of the last five QBs to face the Bills has gone Over 207.5 yards, and Buffalo is coming off an extended rest.

It is also worth noting that many sportsbooks have set Jones’ passing prop total at 203.5 yards, so going Under 207.5 at FanDuel could represent excellent value for this Monday Night Football prop pick.

Diggs Under 60.5 receiving yards (-114)

The Pats have given up just 139 ypg in the air Over their last five games. Over the season, they have allowed a mere 131.5 ypg to receivers, and no team in the league allows fewer receptions to wide receivers. Diggs is a phenomenal talent, and he has great chemistry with Allen, but this may be a relatively quiet game for him in the rain in Buffalo.

The Pats have faced 12 teams so far this season, and only two leading WRs from those teams — Keenan Allen and Mike Evans — have managed Over 61.5 yards. Last weekend, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine of the Tennessee Titans only reached 25. Diggs has gone Over 60.5 yards in two-thirds of his games this season, but that could count for little against such a well-drilled defense.
