In a scenario very few saw coming the Giants sit atop the NFC East tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for first place. They will take on their first divisional rivals as the Cowboys travel to MetLife Stadium for Monday Night Football.

Should the Eagles lose, the Giants could end the week in sole possession of first place in the division if they can beat Cooper Rush and the Cowboys.

Top MNF Prop Predictions for NFL Week 3

Shepard Over 4.5 Receptions (+120)

Shepard caught a thrilling 65-yard touchdown grab in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. It was one of only two receptions he had that day on four targets. Last week, Daniel Jones looked in his direction a team-high 10 times. The veteran wideout caught six of them.

He has eclipsed this mark in 11 of his last 19 games over the last two seasons. Dallas allowed the Cincinnati Bengals pass catchers to eclipse this mark last week.

Cooper Rush Under 0.5 Interceptions (-115)

Rush has appeared in nine total games in his career. In that time he has attempted 94 passes. He has thrown only one interception. He avoided turning the ball over in his first start in relief of Dak Prescott, attempting 31 passes without getting picked off.

The Giants have yet to intercept either quarterback they have faced this season. Last season, they registered only one interception in their two games against Dallas.

Total Punts Over 9.5 (-115)

Over the first two weeks of the season, both teams have combined with their opponents to surpass this total. Last week, the Cowboys and Bengals accounted for 10 drives that ended with a punt. Dallas contributed five of them. In Week 1, the Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell only two punts short of this mark. Even still, Dallas punted five times in that game.

Last week the Giants and the Carolina Panthers punted the ball on a total of ten drives. Five of them belonged to New York. The Giants started their 2022 season with a five-play drive that resulted in a punt. It was one of six such drives for New York and 12 total between them and the Titans that day.
