Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -3.5-105 at Pinnacle
The Broncos came out as 3.5-point favorites at home and the NFL odds have yet to move as Denver is holding firm. They need a win badly as the Broncos have lost two in a row after a 34-27 loss in Pittsburgh in which they gave up a 17-point lead. QB Brock Osweiler wasn't bad, throwing for 296 yards, three touchdowns and a pick, but he completed just 21 of 44 passes. The Bengals bounced back from losing to the Steelers by beating San Francisco 24-14 on the road. But they didn't give QB A.J. McCarron much to do as he was 15-of-21 for 192 yards and a score, and he didn't turn the ball over. Both teams struggled to run the ball last week, so they probably worked on that this week. Both are also looking to clinch their respective divisions, and the Bengals only need a win as they're already in the playoffs, but Pittsburgh still looms in the AFC North. The Broncos, however, have Kansas City just one game back, and the Chiefs are hosting Cleveland. If the Chiefs win and the Broncos lose, they're tied in the AFC West and Denver could miss the playoffs altogether.

Injuries
Dalton, of course, won't be back because of his injured thumb, and right now the Bengals are just trying to get him back for the postseason. TE Tyler Eifert is still battling a concussion, while G George Iloka has a groin injury. It looks like CB Adam Jones will be ready with a foot injury, and the same for WR A.J. Green, who has a bad back.

QB Peyton Manning hasn't even practiced in almost a week because of his foot, so Osweiler has to shake off a bad shoulder so he can start for the Broncos. S David Bruton is on the injured-reserve list with a broken leg.

Trends
The Bengals are the only 11-win ATS team in the league at 11-2-1, going a perfect 7-0 ATS on the road. The Broncos are 7-5-2 ATS this season, going 3-3 ATS at home. The total is 40.5, down from 42, and the both teams have gone under seven times, while the Broncos have two pushes.

The Broncos are 7-3 SU and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Bengals, who are 0-8 SU and 4-3 ATS in eight trips to Denver.
