Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -4 -105 at Pinnacle
The Chargers opened this game as 4-point favorites at home and then the NFL odds have moved down to -3.5, but then moved back up to -4. The Chargers should probably be higher if not for their big injury, but their home-field advantage isn't so large as their last two home games have been losses to Pittsburgh and Oakland and if you were watching on television, you could hear the visiting fans even more. It could be much of the same with the Bears, who are one of the most popular teams in the country and they usually travel well.

RB Matt Forte is gone for at least two weeks for the Bears after injuring his knee, and if the Bears were to lose these next two games, they should just sit him for the season. Forte is even more important to the Bears than Cutler, and if Chicago's season is over, they might as well look ahead to 2016. WR Eddie Royal has a knee injury that won't require surgery, but he is gone for this week at the very least.

Things keep getting worse for the Chargers as WR Keenan Allen is gone for the season with a lacerated kidney, and you could argue that he was their best non-Rivers offensive player. LB Tourek Williams is out for the season because of his foot and RB Branden Oliver is joining him because of his toe. TE Ladarius Green didn't practice due to an ailing ankle, while T King Dunlap and fell OL Orlando Franklin (knee) were also on the sidelines, along with LB Manti Te'o (ankle). And that is all we know as of Wednesday.

The Bears are 3-4 ATS in seven games in 2015, but they're 2-1 ATS on the road. Meanwhile, the Chargers are 3-5 ATS overall, but 1-3 ATS at home.

Chicago is 6-2 SU and 5-2 ATS in eight meetings with San Diego since 1981, and they're 2-2 SU and ATS in four visits to San Diego.
