The NFC North is the stage for this battle as 2-4 Chicago returns from a bye after giving Detroit their first win of the season. They'll host 4-2 Minnesota, who beat the Lions last week.

Opening Odds & Line Movement

Open: -2.5 -117 at Pinnacle
There has been a lot of movement with the NFL odds as the Vikings opened up as 2.5-point favorites on the road, then down to -1.5, then up to -2, -1.5 and it is now a pick. Minnesota has one injury worry, but it is important, while they've struggled in Chicago in recent years. The Bears are also coming off their bye, which gives them a bit of an edge. But how much of an edge is it if the Bears just aren't that good? We will see if they can get up for this huge divisional game.

RB Adrian Peterson has been bothered by his hip, along with a couple of other injuries and he didn't practice on Wednesday. He might not practice before kickoff, but the Vikings are confident that he'll be in the backfield on Sunday. Peterson is one of three players, along with LB Chad Greenway and DE Brian Robison, who were on the roster for Minnesota's last win in Chicago, so it'll take a lot to keep him off the field.

S Antrel Rolle is still dealing with a high-ankle aprain, but he hopes to play on Sunday. The depth of the defensive line will be tested as DE Ego Ferguson is out for the season with a knee injury, and DE Jeremiah Ratliff has been released by the Bears.

The Vikings have covered in each of their last five games, and they're 4-1 ATS in their last five on the road. The Bears are 3-3 ATS this season, but they're just 5-15-1 in their last 21 at home. The total started at 42 and is now at 42.5, but the Vikings have gone under in five of their last seven, while the Bears have gone under in six of their last nine.

The Bears are 7-3 SU and ATS in their last 10 games against the Vikings, whose Chicago issues have been documented already. The Vikings are 1-9 SU in their last 10 in Chicago, covering in just two of those games.
