We split a pair of player props from Thursday thanks to LeGarrette Blount running all over the Texans’ defense, but we have still started out hot in our player props and I am back with a couple of NFL Picks.

Blaine Gabbert O/U 215.5 passing yards
Our first prop comes courtesy of Bovada sportsbook and it’s none other than that other San Francisco quarterback, Blaine Gabbert. I know it may surprise you, but Gabbert is the Niners’ starting quarterback, even though you don’t here much about him for some reason, but he has a prop from Bovada that is begging for you to take the under.

I understand the game script here. If the Seahawks finally figure things out at home against the Niners, then Gabbert and the Niners are going to be throwing the ball virtually all game trying to play catch-up. This would, of course, provide an environment-friendly to the over here, but the under is actually the better play.

Let’s assume for a second that the Seahawks don’t figure things out and this game is a low scoring contest where both teams struggle to score. The Niners are going to run the ball as much as possible here, not only to keep the Seattle crowd out of the game but to ensure they don’t turn the ball over by asking Gabbert to beat this very good secondary.

Plus, if you look at Gabbert’s numbers through two games, it doesn’t exactly impress you. In Week 1 he completed 22 passes for only 170 yards and last week if it wasn’t for a 75-yard bomb in the fourth quarter, he would have only completed 16 passes for only 168 yards. That was also a game where the Niners were trailing the whole time, so even if this game does get out of hand, I can’t trust Gabbert to do more than just dink and dunk all game.

Free NFL Pick: UNDER 215.5 (-115)
Best Line Offered: at Bovada

Jarvis Landry O/U 77.5 receiving yards
This one is real simple for Sunday as the Dolphins face the Browns as big favorites. Miami is going to be down Arian Foster in this one and as much as I am onboard with the hype of Jay Ajayi, the Dolphins might choose to beat up the Browns through the air in this one.

Ryan Tannehill has thrown 74 passes through two weeks and Cleveland has allowed 572 yards through the air in two games. Tannehill's chance of going for 275 to even 300 in this game against this defense is great and Jarvis Landry should see the most targets and yards because of it. I see him with at least 80 receiving yards this week after 135 yards last week against New England.

Free NFL Pick: OVER 77.5 (-120)
Best Line Offered: at Bovada
