In this article you can find all the major line moves of the past few days in college football and NFL opening lines. Don't miss it!
We have been seeing a lot of movement on game day for all these games. A lot of it is two-way action, too. To me that means different groups with various opinions. Any price manipulation probably happened earlier in the process. If you are trying to middle and/or arbitrage these games, be very nimble on game days. Sharp players have caught on to bookmakers taking much bigger limits on game day.
251 NC State/252 Mississippi State- Miss State went as high as -6, back down as low as -4.5. Now mostly -5 college football odds.
253 Louisville/254 Texas A&M- Some sharp money showed today with college football picks on A&M +4.5. Lots of well-publicized problems on the Texas A&M side, but numbers can only go so far until there is value on the other side. Some sharp players finally found value. It’s not like Louisville tore it up this year. Louisville now at -3.5. If you remember Texas A&M opened -3. So this one hell of a move.
307 Ravens/308 Bengals- The Bengals AJ McCarron suffered a hurt wrist on the last play of the game in their overtime loss to the Broncos. Initial reports had McCarron questionable for this week. However, an MRI revealed it was only a sprain. McCarron says he is good to go for this weekend. The Bengals opened today at -9.5 NFL odds.
311 Jacksonville/312 Texans- Brian Hoyer has been cleared to play this weekend and will get the start for the Texans at quarterback. Texans opened -6 for NFL picks.
317 Titans/318 Colts- Still no line for this game as question marks at quarterback remain for both teams.
319 Redskins/320 Cowboys- Redskins have nothing to play for in the sense of playoff positioning. Cowboys opened pick em, but it has been all Cowboys money so far. They are up to -3.5 with no signs of stopping. Cowboys have put Dez Bryant on IR. Also have announced La’el Collins and Greg Hardy missed practice today. “Needs the game” and “doesn’t need the game” is the most overrated angle in sports. I have a feeling the Redskins still would greatly enjoy beating their hated rival.
