Jets -2 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although the Steelers (4-2 ATS) have been better against the spread than the Jets (2-4 ATS), we haven’t seen Pittsburgh operate under Russell Wilson yet - and I’m not sure he’s going to be as effective as Justin Fields.

• The Jets have covered the spread in their only game as a road favorite this season
• The Steelers are 1-1 ATS at home and have not yet played a home game as an underdog

Although the Jets have ailments beyond what Davante Adams alone can cure, I’m buying that Adams replacing Mike Williams in the lineup should improve the effectiveness of the offense enough to justify the Jets as favorites in this matchup.

BetMGM and FanDuel are good options for straight bets on the spread, offering Jets -1.5.  We don’t mind the slight bump to Jets -2 required to play this parlay at DraftKings with far superior overall odds.

Davante Adams Over 4.5 receptions (-135) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

While the demise of Garrett Wilson as a prominent figure in the New York passing offense has probably been overstated, there’s no doubt in my mind that Rodgers is going to want to immediately justify the Jets trading for one of his closest friends in the league. Our Davante Adams player prop bets agree.

• Adams has demonstrated that he’s still capable of commanding targets at this stage in his career, racking up target totals of 9, 12 and 6 this season
• Reports from this week surrounding the Jets indicate Adams is expected to have a full workload on Sunday night

• The Steelers have allowed at least two opposing pass-catchers to log 5-plus receptions in each of their last three games

DraftKings lists Adams’ Over 4.5 receptions prop at -135 odds, which falls in the middle of the range from -130 to -138 across our best sportsbooks.

Russell Wilson Under 173.5 passing yards (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Playing time for Russell Wilson doesn’t seem to be locked in for the entirety of the contest; even if it’s just for niche scenarios in the playbook, I would expect Fields to see the field at various points.

• The Jets rank second in the NFL in pass defense, allowing just 148.8 passing yards per game
• As an offense, the Steelers have produced more than 173.5 passing yards just twice in six games prior to Wilson’s installation

Wilson’s passing prop at DraftKings is higher than the 169.5 yards at BetMGM but slightly lower than the FanDuel line of 174.5 yards. But since the overall parlay odds at FanDuel amount to just +409, we’re locking in this SGP at DraftKings with +625 odds.

A winning $10 wager on this parlay at DraftKings would profit $62.50.
