Houston's defense has powered a 4-game winning streak, & now they are 6-5 going to Buffalo. The Bills are 5-6 after 2 tough losses against Pats & Chiefs, one more loss could end their playoff hopes.

Opening Odds & Line Movement

The Bills opened the NFL odds as 3.5-point favorites at home and now the line is at a field for the home team. Buffalo managed to move the ball against the Chiefs in a 30-22 loss, but their defense has been up and down all season and came up short once again. The Texans have now allowed six points in three of their last four after a 24-6 win against New Orleans; that is now 35 points allowed in four games. The offense hasn't had to be great, although there is a lot less pressure when your defense is dominating and the Texans are hot on Indianapolis' heels in the AFC South after many wrote them off. The Buffalo offensive line has to slow down the Houston defensive line because QB Tyrod Taylor has taken some big shots over the last couple weeks.

The Texans have a few knocks, starting with DE J.J. Watt, who didn't practice on Wednesday because of a groin injury. However, Watt leads the NFL in sacks with 13.5 and will surely play as the Texans want to make sure their stud is well-rested. RB Alfred Blue (back), WR DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring), CB Johnathan Jackson (knee) and T Derek Newton (elbow) were all limited in Wednesday's practice, but they should all play on Sunday.

The Bills lost DT Kyle Williams for the season after knee surgery, which is another big loss for Buffalo's defensive line. RB Karlos Williams is questionable because of his shoulder, and the Bills can't afford many more injuries in that area. The Bills are already looking at releasing DE Mario Williams, who has been out for a few games with a  foot injury.

The Texans are 6-5 ATS this season, including 2-3 ATS on the road, while the Bills are 5-5-1 ATS and 2-3 ATS overall and at home, respectively. The total comes in at 41.5, and both teams have gone over six times.

Houston is 4-3 SU and 5-2 ATS in their seven meetings with the Bills, who are 2-1 SU and ATS at home against the Texans.
