The focus will be on the quarterbacks, Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers and Carolina's Cam Newton, but these are two well-rounded teams as both rank in the top 10 in points allowed and points scored.

The Packers opened up as 2.5-point favorites on the road and the NFL odds haven’t moved, and that's a bit disrespectful to the Panthers, especially after their win over the Colts. Regardless of what you think about Indianapolis, the Panthers are still undefeated and they're at home, but the sportsbooks love Rodgers and the Packers, who are also one of the biggest public teams in all of sports betting because of their massive fan base. It wouldn't be a surprise if a lot of money came in on Carolina over the next couple days, and this is the second week in a row that Green Bay are favored on the road against an unbeaten team. However, at least going into Denver, the Packers were also unbeaten.

For the Packers, CB Sam Shields is questionable with a shoulder injury, while LB Clay Matthews has a sore ankle. Keep an eye on both going into this game, and Matthews seems to have a better chance at playing, although it wouldn't be a shock if both lined up on Sunday.

Carolina has some problems on the offensive line as C Ryan Kalil didn't play against Indianapolis because of an ankle injury and he is a doubt for this week. G Andrew Norwell had to leave that game with a leg injury and it doesn't look promising for Sunday, either.

The Packers have covered the spread in six of their last eight games, and they're 4-1 ATS in their last five on the road. Carolina is 5-2 ATS in seven games this season, and they're 2-2 ATS at home. The total is set at 46.5, and the Packers have gone under in five of their last six; the Panthers have gone over in four of their last five.

Carolina is 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 meetings with Green Bay, who are 5-2 SU and ATS in seven trips to Carolina. This is a "prove-it" game for the Panthers, as many people feel skeptical of their 7-0 start.
