An early-season matchup with the New York Giants means it’s time for Jayden Daniels and Brian Robinson Jr. to eat for the Washington Commanders. Daniels sits second in the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds.

Our Giants vs. Commanders player props envision a successful day on the ground for Washington's offense after the Giants rolled over pretty easily to a mediocre Minnesota Vikings' offense in Week 1.

Oh, and we’re going to fade Daniel Jones. Sounds easy enough.

Daniels anytime TD Scorer (+130) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jayden Daniels took care of the football as a conservative passer during his first game, going 17-for-24 for 184 yards. For a player with Daniels’ skill set as a rusher, it made sense for him to make plays with his legs rather than forcing throws and taking risks.

Punch it in, kid

Daniels ran for 88 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I predict more willingness from Daniels to use his arm against a weak New York secondary.

But there's value in plus-money odds on Daniels to take matters into his own hands near the goal line after he did it twice a week ago.

Both BetMGM and DraftKings are quality options for your bet on a Daniels anytime TD, as he’s getting juicy +130 odds at both sportsbooks. The value is depleted at FanDuel (+115), bet365 (+110), and Caesars (+100).

Esten McLaren is also favoring Daniels as part of his anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Week 2.

Robinson Jr. Over 52.5 rushing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury spoke openly about his belief in Brian Robinson Jr. as a talented running back with a three-down skill set. We saw Washington’s trust in him during Week 1 when Robinson out carried Austin Ekeler 12 to two.

Exploiting a soft run defense?

Though Robinson totaled only 40 yards on the ground in the lopsided loss to Tampa, I like Washington’s featured back to carry the load for a game in which the Commanders are home favorites. A positive game script should provide plenty of opportunities for Robinson against a Giants defense that permitted 94 rushing yards on 14 carries to Aaron Jones last week.

Robinson's line at FanDuel is the most favorable for Over bettors at just 52.5 yards, with -113 odds on Over. bet365 posts the same 52.5 line, but with -115 odds. The rest of our best sportsbooks list Robinson Jr.’s total between 53.5 and 55.5 yards, depleting any value on the prop at those locations.

Stick with FanDuel here as part of your NFL Week 2 predictions.

Jones Under 1.5 passing TDs (-225) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Daniel Jones was an utter trainwreck during a Week 1 shellacking against the Vikings, throwing two miserable interceptions without producing a passing touchdown. The calls for Drew Lock have already begun, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see Brian Daboll give in if Jones can’t ace this test against a malleable Washington secondary.

Trap line? We’re still jumping in

While Baker Mayfield just torched this Commanders' defense for four touchdowns, I simply can’t recommend a bounce-back game for Jones when betting anything other than Monopoly money.

The juice isn’t really worth the squeeze on this prop at DraftKings (-230), Caesars (-234), or FanDuel (-245). But we’re fine with trying this Under on 1.5 passing TDs through BetMGM or bet365 as a bankroll builder with -225 odds.

Best odds: -225 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 69.23%
