The ultimate round of the NFL regular season is upon, bringing the final serving of game-by-game picks versus the total. Find out where we’re lining our OVER & UNDER NFL picks in week 17.

Week 16 NFL Picks Recap
We capped week 16 with a 10-6 record versus the total, improving our tally on the season to 125-114-2. With one more round of the regular season before us, we have our NFL picks for OVER/UNDER bettors. Let’s get started.

Ravens vs. Bengals
The Ravens and Bengals collide in their regular season curtain call. Although it’s a divisional clash with no love lost between the pair, only the Bengals have a vested interest in the outcome as they are vying for a first round bye. The game is trading on a hefty 9-point spread with the Bengals to the good, but something about this matchup suggests it won’t be so straightforward. Consider both sides will be fielding backup quarterbacks. The game opened on a 42.5point line, but has come down by a point already since early doors. It’s somewhat contradictory to have such a wide spread on the game but a  low total, don’t you think? Both sides are 7-8 in O/U betting, and trending towards the UNDER conspicuously in the last eight games.

NFL Picks: UNDER 41.5 (-110)

Lions vs. Bears
The Lions and Bears collide in a meaningless game in week 17. Both sides are out of postseason consideration with nothing to play for but pride. The Lions offense has lit up in recent weeks and they improve to 9-6 in O/U betting this season ahead of the ultimate round. In their last two games, they accounted for 32 and 35 points, respectively, and conceded 27 and 17. The Bears offense can do some damage as well but it’s been largely inconsistent. Totals opened around 45 points but have been steadily on the rise.

NFL Picks: OVER 45.5 (-105)
Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle

Jaguars vs. Texans
The Jaguars are one of the best in the league with a 10-5 OVER record while the Texans are 8-6-1 in O/U betting this season. Total lines opened on the 46-point line but have, surprisingly, been trending down on the NFL odds board with most sportsbooks offering 45.5-points right now. That’s probably down to the perception of the Texans’ defense that has been awfully stingy of late. For our money, this game could go against the grain so we’re taking the OVER on our NFL picks.

NFL Picks: OVER 45.5 (-110)
Best Line Offered: at Bet365

Patriots vs. Dolphins
Odds makers went to press with a 48-point line on this game but it quickly dropped down to 47 points across the board. Undoubtedly, the Patriots offense doesn’t need much preamble – their ability to score is rarely a question. The Dolphins are another matter entirely, wholly unconvincing on both sides of the ball. The expectation in this game is for a lopsided result, but it could still ring in UNDER this very high total with the Patriots doing most of the damage and the Dolphins barely striking an audible chord.

NFL Picks: UNDER 47.5 (-110)
Best Line Offered: at The Greek

Saints vs. Falcons
With the hot hand of Drew Brees it’s no surprise the game opened on a 52-point total. Heck, even the previous encounter between these two sides went 31-21 this season. The line has crept up to 52.5-points at some sportsbooks with Pinnacle going as high as 53-points. That’s an indication the OVER is the popular NFL pick across sports betting platforms. Thing is the Falcons have the league’s worst OVER record which stands at 2-12-1. Surely, they’ll have something to say about the score line.

NFL Picks: UNDER 53 (-102)
Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle

Jets vs. Bills
The Jets and Bills collide in a pivotal clash in week 17 that could decide the fate of the Jets’ playoff bid. On both sides of the ball, the Jets have been solid, but it’s clear the odds makers are paying lip service to their vaulted defense by rolling out a 42.5-point total at early doors. That total has inched down to 42-points at most sports betting shops, which could be an indication of the public’s leaning toward the UNDER for this game. Earlier in the season, the pair collided in a game trading on a 42-point line that eventually resulted in a 22-17 win for the Bills. Given what is at stake for the Jets here, we’re thinking this game will go against the grain and crack the 42-point total.

NFL Picks: OVER 42 (+110)
Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle

Eagles vs. Giants
The Giants lead the league with a 10-5-0 OVER record, a mark that underscores the 52-point opening total on this game at most sports betting outlets. That total has come down a smidgen to 51-points since opening doors, a combination of the Eagles’ 7-8 OVER record and the firing of coach Chip Kelly. It’s a tossup which way this game is going to go, but given the uncertainty in the Philadelphia camp we have to lean towards the UNDER on our NFL picks.

NFL Picks: UNDER 51.5 (-110)

Steelers vs. Browns
The Steelers are favored across the board in their season closer with the Browns. Not only are they trading as the double-digit favorites on the road against the spread but also the total is trading on a high 47.5-points at some sportsbooks, up from an opening 47 points. Steelers are 6-9 in OVER/UNDER betting while the Browns are 8-7. Conspicuously, the Steelers offense has picked up pace over the last few weeks – save week 16 when it struggled mightily against the Ravens. The Browns, by contrast, have been trending on the UNDER in their last four games straight. They also lost to the Steelers 30-9 with the UNDER 43 cashing in November.

NFL Picks: UNDER 47.5 (-105)
Best Line Offered: at Heritage

Titans vs. Colts
As the Colts and Titans trot out back up quarterbacks for their season curtain closer in week 17, it’s no surprise that odds makers roll out a rather low total for this game. As it is, the total is around 39-points, which seems about right. The Titans have been offensively challenged without Marcus Mariota while the Colts defense has shouldered the burden as they were forced to endure a campaign without Andrew Luck.

NFL Pick: UNDER 39
Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle

Redskins vs. Cowboys
The Redskins have punched above their weight class, coming through as the NFC East long shots to win the title with a win over the Philadelphia Eagles in week 16. It marked only their second road win of the season, but its timing couldn’t have been any better. The 35-24 win improved the Redskins to an 8-7 OVER record on the season, marking their third straight OVER in as many weeks. The Cowboys, meanwhile, are trending on the UNDER in four straight games including a 19-16 win over the Redskins that cashed on the UNDER 43-point total trading. Predictably, the total on this game is one of the lowest of the week with some sportsbooks going as low as 39-points. We’re of the mind that the Redskins with their fired up offense can dictate the play and push the total OVER. Hence, we’re taking the OVER 39.

NFL Picks: OVER 39 (-110)
Best Line Offered: at Bookmaker

Raiders vs. Chiefs
The Raiders are 8-5-2 in O/U betting this season, but 2-3-2 in their last seven games. That said only three of those games went UNDER 43.5-points, which happens to be the total trading on this game. The Chiefs, meanwhile, are 8-6-1 in O/U betting, splitting their last four games 2-2 O/U. In their last seven, they are 3-3-1 in O/U betting. By all accounts, this game could go either way, considering the divisional aspect as well. The last meeting between this pair went 34-20.

NFL Picks: OVER 43.5 (+100)
Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle

Chargers vs. Broncos
The total opened on 41-points and has stayed largely put on the NFL odds board across sports betting platforms, which could mean the bookies got this line right and they are receiving balanced NFL betting action on both sides of the coin. The Chargers are pretty banged up, so much so Philip Rivers might have to take the field alone. The Broncos, meanwhile, are buoyed by a crucial 20-17 win over the Bengals that cashed UNDER 39. The UNDER has been trending for both teams conspicuously over the last few weeks, which makes a strong case for another UNDER NFL pick here. That said this is still a clash between an elite quarterback in Philip Rivers and an up-and-coming quarterback Brock Osweiler. This could be more of a shootout than the public anticipates.

NFL Picks: OVER 41 (-105)
Best Line Offered: at Heritage

Seahawks vs. Cardinals
The Cardinals are destroying all in their wake. Most recently, they humbled Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in a 38-8 win in Arizona. The Seahawks, meanwhile, are coming off a 23-10 shocking loss to the Rams at home, a game that saw Russell Wilson and the offense struggle something huge against a stout defense. Arizona boasts an 8-7 OVER record this season and in their last two games they’ve averaged 39-points approximately. Earlier this season, they beat the Seahawks 39-32 in Seahawks.

NFL Picks: OVER 46.5 (-110)
Best Line Offered: at The Greek

Rams vs. Niners
The lowest total on the NFL odds board –heck, probably of the season – is trading on this game. Bookies went to press with a 37.5-point total at opening doors and it’s already slipped down to 37-points. That’s a lot to do with the ineffective Niners offense that has struggled out of the gates this season. The Rams are riding a three-game winning streak into week 17, which includes an average of 25-points scored and 18-points conceded. Just by those numbers alone, this game should crack the low 37-point total, but don’t go betting the farm on it.

NFL Picks: OVER 37 (-110)
Best Line Offered: at 5Dimes

Bucs vs. Panthers
The Bucs and Panthers close the season in Carolina, all while the hosts look to bounce back from a rare defeat in week 16 NFL betting. Totals opened on a high 47-points but swiftly came down to 46-points at most sports betting shops, even though the Panthers are 9-5-1 in O/U betting and the Bucs are 8-7 in O/U betting. Earlier in the season, the Bucs lost to the Panthers 37-23 at home.

NFL Picks: OVER 46 (-105)
Best Line Offered: at Heritage

Vikings vs. Packers
The Vikings are coming off 49-17 win over the Giants. It marked their second major offensive account of the season, following a 38-17 win over the Bears in week 15. The last two games have seen the Vikings up their points scored average significantly from previous games and improve to a 4-10-1 OVER record on the season. The Packers offense has been patchy of late, including last week’s horrendous 38-8 account in Arizona. In fact, the Packers are just 5-10-0 in O/U betting this season. Seasonal trends suggest the UNDER is the smart NFL pick, but recent form and trends suggest the OVER might be the savvy NFL pick.
