The underdog Eagles are getting more money at the betting windows than the defending champion Patriots, who will be in their record 10th Super Bowl on Sunday in Minneapolis. Action from sharps and the public is moving the point spread for Super Bowl LII from an opening Patriots -6 line down to as low as 4 in some sportsbooks (5Dimes, Heritage), with others such as BetOnline at 4.5. The moneyline on New England can be found as low as -175 (Bovada).

Along with the standard betting options for a typical NFL game, the Super Bowl always has a creative and growing menu of props bets to make the game the largest single betting event of the calendar year.

Here’s your A-Z list of odds-worthy things for Super Bowl LII:

Average Bet Size Speaks Volumes: The consensus numbers show that even though the total numbers of wagers placed is fairly even, with Philadelphia getting 52.04 percent of the bets to New England’s 47.96 (3,810 to 3,511), there is still a heavy imbalance of Eagles money (82.51 percent to 17.49) with $5,848,250 on the Eagles in the amount wagered category compared to just $1,229,383 on the Patriots. The average bet size best reflects why these numbers are the way they are, with the average bet on Alshon Jeffery (50/1 to win Super Bowl MVP, Bookmaker) and Philadelphia being $1,535, and the average bet on Danny Amendola (33/1 to win Super Bowl MVP, 5Dimes, Heritage) at $353.

Brady and Belichick: Patriots QB Tom Brady and Coach Bill Belichick have not only been a blessing to New England, but also to NFL bettors' money. Belichick is 186-129-7 ATS (59 percent) lifetime and Brady is 126-94-6 ATS as a favorite (54.5 percent). They led the Patriots to the NFL’s best ATS mark in 2017 (15-3), and including Super Bowl LII the team has been favored in all 19 of its games this season.

Coin Toss: If you can’t wait for kickoff to get in on some action, the coin toss is a 50/50 prop (heads -105, tails 105, BetOnline), so you can get those gastric juices flowing early. The team that has won the toss has L3 straight. In all Super Bowls, tails leads heads 27-24 (52.9 percent). Right now, 5Dimes has the best price -- all -101 -- for those wanting to bet heads or tails and/or Eagles or Patriots to win the toss. Bookmaker has the best price on the “yes” for “Will the Coin Toss Winner win the Game?" at -103, while 5Dimes is offering a +100 for the “no” in that niche props market.

Dion Lewis: The Patriots are 34-3 SU when Lewis (+3301 to win Super Bowl MVP, Bookmaker) plays in a game. A human good-luck charm, perhaps?

Eagles Are Big Favorites in Public: Social media seldom agrees on one thing, but like the vast number of early bettors, a recent Twitter map revealed almost every state in the union was pulling for the Eagles. Apparently, for casual fans, the idea of seeing the same team in the Super Bowl so often is tiring. Strangely, perhaps, the state of North Dakota, home to North Dakota State University where injured Eagles QB Carson Wentz played, is rooting for the Patriots.

FGs Made and TDs Scored: You can makes a props bet on the number of field goals made as well as the number of touchdowns scored. Last year there were two field goals and eight TDs.

Gatorade Color: Green (+361, Bookmaker) is the favorite color of Gatorade to be dumped on the winning coach, followed by yellow (+397), clear (+479), orange (+508), red (+570), blue (+625) and none (+894).

Hey, Maybe Next Season? There are a number of talented and presumed starting players who are hurt and will miss the game, most notably Wentz (knee) and Patriots WR Julian Edelman (ACL). Other sidelined players include Eagles RB Darren Sproles (knee), RB Donnel Pumphrey (hamstring), K Caleb Sturgis (quad), T Jason Peters (knee), S Chris Maragos (leg), LB Jordan Hicks (Achilles) and LB Joe Walker (neck) , as well as Patriots LB Dont’a Hightower (pectoral), TE Martellus Bennett (hamstring), WR Malcolm Mitchell (knee) and CB Cyrus Jones (ACL). New England TE Rob Gronkowski (concussion) and Philadelphia QB Nick Foles (ribs) are on the Injury report but their participation is a foregone conclusion, while Eagles LB Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring) is questionable.

Individual Player Props: As always, there is an extensive list of player props such as Most Rushing Yards, where Eagles RB Jay Ajayi (-110, Intertops) is the favorite, and Most Receiving Yards, where Gronkowski (+275, Intertops) is the chalk. Brady has his own personal menu of props, including Passing Yards (289½o, Bovada) and Rushing Yards (2½u -125, Intertops).

James White, Touchdown Maker: Belichick likes to get the pigskin in the hands of White, a fourth-year player who had only 43 rushes for 171 yards this season but who has a unique nose for the end zone in the postseason, scoring six of the L11 TDs for New England in the two AFC playoff games this year and last year’s Super Bowl -- when he drove through Atlanta's defense for the overtime winner. Amendola has three TDs for the Patriots over that span -- including the L2 -- with WR Chris Hogan (pass) and RB Bruce Bolden (rush) accounting for the other two. White (51/1 to win Super Bowl MVP, Heritage) is (best) priced at +175 in the Anytime TD Scorer market, 14/1 at Bovada in the Last TD Scorer prop and 14/1 at 5Dimes, Bovada and Heritage in the First TD Scorer market.

Kolors: Hey, "K’s" are hard to find. Three of the color-related props besides the Gatorade prop include "What Color Shirt Will Bill Belichick Wear?" (blue -150, gray +140, red +900, white +900, Bovada); "What (Predominant) Color Will Pink’s Hair Be For the National Anthem?" (white-blonde -300, pink-red 4/1, green 4/1, blue-purple 9/1, brown-black 9/1, Bovada); and "What (Predominant) Color Will Justin Timberlake’s Shoes Be For Halftime Show?" (white 4/5, black 7/4, brown/beige 7/1, blue 10/1, green 10/1, red 16/1, yellow 20/1, Bovada).

Land of 10,000 Lakes Location: One-year-old U.S. Bank Stadium at 401 Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota -- home of the Minnesota Vikings and aptly nicknamed “The Ship” -- is the fixed-roof site of Super Bowl LII. This will be the second Super Bowl played in Minneapolis, with Super Bowl XXVI held at the Metrodome in January 1992 (Redskins 37, Bills 24). U.S. Bank Stadium was built on the former site of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome and will be hosting the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four in 2019.

MVP: The QB from the winning team has won the Super Bowl MVP award in eight of the L11 years, so Brady (-110, Bovada) and Foles (+450, Intertops) might be wise choices, especially Foles should NFC champion Philadelphia pull off the upset. Brady has been Super Bowl MVP four times.

New England Patriots Team Total Points: Best number for "over" bettors: 26½ -131 (5Dimes); best number for "under" bettors: 27 +105 (Bovada).

Overall Length of National Anthem: Pink (To Omit A Word: No -900, Yes +500, 5Dimes) will perform the "Star-Spangled Banner" (over/under 2:00, over -160, BetOnline). For now, the best place to bet the "over" is at Bovada (2 minutes, Over -150) while the best place to bet the "under" is at Intertops (123 seconds, Under -120), with a “Middle” (for now) actually attainable on both at 121 or 122 seconds. Live large.

Philadelphia Eagles Team Total Points: Best number for "over" bettors: 21 -130 (Bovada); best number for "under" bettors: 21½ -102 (5Dimes).

Quarter 1: The Patriots have been downright anemic in the first quarter of their previous nine Super Bowls, scoring 17 total points. Will that change this time (1Q total 9½, Over -125, BetOnline)? And, can we expect heavy scoring in the second quarter (14, Over -105, Bookmaker)?

Rushing, Receiving Yards Props: With former Patriot LeGarrette Blount and all of the great skill position players on these teams, there are several interesting rushing and receiving props worth examining.

Super Bowl LII Props: Many serious and casual sports bettors have grown fond of betting the unique props for the Super Bowl. "Will There be A Safety?" is among the various player, team, entertainment-related and cross-sport props available. You can view the full list of current Super Bowl LII Props Odds here.

Total (Points): The total for Super Bowl LII is sitting in the 48- to 48½-point range with Bookmaker hanging a 47½ after the game opened at 46½, with a steady stream of "over" money coming in, meaning the house will no doubt be pulling for the "under" (as well as the Patriots) on Sunday with some more expected, late-public "over" action likely. The "over" is 4-1 the L5 Super Bowls.

Underdogs: Even though the Patriots (-3) covered ATS in OT last year, the underdog is a profitable 11-4 ATS the L16 Super Bowls with no official favorite in Super Bowl XLIX in February 2015, a pick ‘em (even) affair in which New England beat Seattle. The underdog has won five of the L6 and seven of the L10 Super Bowls SU, so all the Eagles bettors could be surfing a green wave of profitable recency.

Victory Margin: The L10 Super Bowls have been decided by 6, 14, 4, 35, 3, 4, 6, 4, 4 and 3 points, or an average of 8.3. The outlier 35-point win margin was from Super Bowl XLVIII in February 2014 when the Seahawks beat the Broncos 43-8 (DEN -2½). The Patriots to win by 1 to 6 points is +400 at BetOnline, while the Eagles winning by 1 to 9 points is at +310 at 5Dimes. Favorites are 35-16 SU in the Super Bowl and a profitable 28-19-2 ATS (59.6 percent).

White Uniform Color: The white uniform wearers are an insane 12-1 SU the L12 Super Bowls. This Super Bowl, the Patriots -- who are the designated home team and got to make their choice of jersey colors -- will be wearing white for a second straight year. The Eagles will be clad in green.

X-perience Factor? New England is set to play in its record 10th Super Bowl (5-4 SU, 3-5-1 ATS) with Philadelphia ready to participate in just its third (0-2 SU, 1-1 ATS). These two met in Super Bowl XXXIX in February 2005, with the Patriots winning 24-21 but failing to cover ATS as closing 7-point chalks.
