Join us as we sift through the NFL odds board in search of some last-minute tasty NFL betting morsels sportsbooks serve up closer to kickoff. We breakdown the NFL odds, spot line movements and serve up our NFL picks.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Buffalo Bills
When we looked at this matchup for our early game-by-game ATS predictions, the NFL betting line was sitting on 4.5-points. The line has moved since against the Vikings significantly, up to 6-points now, which marks one of the biggest moves of the week. Clearly, the betting public’s honeymoon with Teddy Bridgewater and the Vikings is over for the time being. Bridgewater threw three interceptions against the Lions en route to a 17-3 defeat in week 6 NFL betting. He’s on the road for the first time in his fledgling career, taking on a pretty good Bills’ defence. Although the Bills underwent a change at centre a few weeks back when they decided to give EJ Manuel the hook and take a gamble on Kyle Orton instead, installing Orton into the mix hasn’t caused the disruption on the offensive-side of the ball that many NFL pundits presumed would happen, something NFL bettors are taking stock of clearly in this matchup.

For our early NFL picks, we had the Bills covering at -4.0 points The question is whether they still pose a value NFL pick as the 6-point chalk for latecomers to NFL betting markets. Frankly, we’re not so sure the Bills are worth that many points. So this could be a prime opportunity for Minnesota Vikings’ backers to cash in.

NFL Picks: Vikings +6

Carolina Panthers +6.5 vs. Green Bay Packers -6.5
Since we previewed this game, the line has come down by half a point, which isn’t shocking when the Panthers have put together back-to-back comebacks in their last two games to clinch a win and a tie, respectively. There are many NFL bettors that are buying what the Panthers are selling clearly. Tempted though we are to do the same with a Panthers side that may be underrated in overall NFL betting, we’re sticking to our original NFL pick here and going with the Packers. We backed the Packers in our early preview as the 7-point chalk. Now that it’s less than a half-point, it could prove the difference in our favour.

NFL Picks: Packers -6.5

San Francisco 49ers +7.0 vs. Denver Broncos -7.0
Early NFL betting lines had this game nestled on a 6.5-point spread for a while, but it has since gone up a half-point in favour of the Broncos. It’s no secret the Broncos have had trouble covering this season, going without a cover in their first three games. They have pulled off back-to-back covers since, but 7-points against a potential title contender seems way too high.  Our initial NFL pick was to back the Niners at 6.5-points. Now, with an extra point to play with we like the Niners that much more. Every indication is that this is going to be a tight game between two potential Super Bowl contenders. It’s hard to imagine either side letting it get out of hand, allowing the opposition to runaway with the score. On the contrary, we expect they’ll be neck-and-neck to the finish.

NFL Picks: Niners +7.0
