With game day just around the corner, join us as we sift through the NFL odds board in search of angles for profit. We've got your week 13 NFL betting thrills covered.

Bengals -3.5 vs. Bucs
Are we alone in thinking this NFL betting line is completely off? What have the Bucs done to merit such understated NFL odds. If home advantage equals three points, this line implies the Bengals are merely a half-point better than the Bucs. That can't possibly be right. Bucs are 0-5 SU at home and ATS with an 11-point margin of defeat on average. Overall, on the season they are 2-9 SU all while boasting an 8.5-point margin of defeat. Bengals may not be the most popular team in the NFL. They had a poor stretch of a games after a week 3 bye in which they went 1-2-1. But since week 8's win over Baltimore they are 4-1 SU, which includes back-to-back wins on the road at the expense of the New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans. Take the Bucs at the rather low 3.5-points on the spread to cover on your NFL picks.

Giants -3.0 vs. Jags
So, the Giants are struggling this season and have lost their last six in a row. Does that mean they should be sent to Jacksonville as the mere 3-point road favourites across sports betting exchanges? The Giants have had a tough schedule, no ifs or buts about it: Philadelphia, Dallas (twice), Indianapolis, Seattle and San Francisco have contributed to their six-game skid, teams that are above the .500 mark and in the hunt for playoff spots. Finally, Giants have what is essentially a winnable game before them. An almost sure thing, you'd think. Jacksonville are the leagues weaklings, have been so for quite some time. They are 1-10 SU this season, and 1-3 SU and ATS at home with an 8-point margin of defeat. Indeed, since 2013, they are 2-9 SU at home and 2-8-1 ATS with an 11.5-point margin of defeat. The Giants should win this game handily, so take the Giants as 3-point road chalk in this game.

Colts -10.0 vs. Redskins
On one hand this is a high NFL betting spread, the highest on the NFL odds board in week 13 NFL betting. But with Washington Redskins reaching a new nadir behind RGIII, winless in all his appearances this season, the mood in their camp isn't positive, which doesn't augur well for a date with Andrew Luck and the Colts. These are the sort of matchups the Colts thrive on. Beating up on underachievers is par for the course, at the end of the day they are pivotal wins necessary in the broad spectrum of their season's campaign. This season, the Colts have won all their games against underachievers. They are 4-0 SU with wins over Jacksonville, Tennessee and New York Giants, all sides under .500 this season. Importantly, all wins were in the double digits, outscoring the opposition 148-to-61 which yields a 87-point differential or a 21.75-point margin of victory. Redskins are 3-8 SU this season and 4-7 ATS overall. It's a high spread but if the Colts hold to their end of the bargain, beating up on the season's underachievers, they should take care of business. Back the Colts as the -10-point home favourites on your NFL picks.
