Week 17 NFL betting is upon us, the last lap around the NFL that will finalise the playoff picture.  Join us as we rundown through Sunday's card predicting winners and losers for each and every game.

Lions +280 vs. Packers -340
Green Bay Packers bounced back to winning form with a 20-3 win on the road at the expense of the hapless Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Lions meanwhile persevered against a Jimmy-Clausen-inspired Bears. With both NFC North rivals winning last week, they set up a winner takes all showdown in week 17 NFL betting. If one fact were to tip the scale, it would be the Packers' home form, which is an irreproachable 7-0 SU at home. Lambeau has proven to be an impenetrable fortress this season. That alone makes the Packers a good bet to win straight up. Add to that the fact that the Lions are coming off a less than convincing performance and Matt Stafford has been inconsistent, the Packers should come through on their favourable odds to win.

NFL Picks: Packers -340

Jaguars +350 vs. Texans -450
Texans have home field advantage and the added incentive of a potential playoff berth, no matter how slim. Finishing the season on a positive note has its charm as well. Texans are 8-7 SU and in prime position to finish 9-7 SU with a date over the beatable Jaguars on the road. The visitors have yet to win a road game this season. If J.J. Watt and the Texans defense have something to say about it, it's likely they won't break the duck on the road. Take the Texans on your NFL picks.

NFL Picks: Texans -450

Bengals vs. Steelers
This is shaping up to be a highly anticipated AFC North showdown. Steelers are 10-5 SU on the season, 5-2 SU at home, which includes four wins in their last five home games including last week's 20-12 win over the Chiefs. Bengals take a solid 5-2 road record to Pittsburgh looking to finish the season on a high note with win in Pittsburgh. They'll have payback on their minds after the Steelers demolished them 42-21 in Cincinnati a few weeks back.

NFL Picks: Steelers

Colts -285 vs. Titans +245
The idea that the Colts would lose to the hapless Titans beggars belief. Sure the Colts were blowout of AT&T Stadium last weekend, but that was a matchup with the Cowboys. The Titans are polar opposites, a lightweight this season that has struggled both home and away. Backing the Colts on your NFL picks is the sensible thing to do here.

NFL Picks: Colts -285

Browns +310 vs. Ravens -380
The Ravens are faced with a must-win situation if they hope to keep any slim playoff hopes alive. Browns, meanwhile, are back to relying on Brian Hoyer after Manziel's injury against the Panthers last week. Hoyer must be a bit miffed now that the Browns are out of the playoffs and that he wasn't allowed to see the season to its conclusion after bringing them to the cusp of the postseason. This game could go either way as each side will have something to prove. Flacco will want to bounce back from the debacle in Houston. Hoyer will want to prove his worth in the NFL, if only to secure a contract for next season. Our money is on the Ravens getting the job done at home. But we wouldn't be surprised if the Browns pull off the upset either.

NFL Picks: Ravens -380

Bills vs. Patriots
Beating the New England Patriots at home is a feat too big for most teams. Heck, not even the Denver Broncos were able to accomplish the feat at the Foxboro earlier this season. Bills defense won't make it easy for Tom Brady and Company, but it's hard to imagine the Bills, who were eliminated by the Oakland Raiders from the playoffs in last week's round of NFL betting, to traipse into New England and take the straight up win. Take the Patriots at home on your NFL picks; it's the closest  thing to a lock bet this season.

NFL Picks: Patriots

Jets +190 vs. Dolphins -230
The Jets have little to play for, save for pride. Dolphins are looking to finish the season on a winning note for the first time since 2008. Something is going to have to give when these two teams collide. The Dolphins are after an inspired win over the Vikings in week 16 NFL betting, a result that has NFL bettors jumping on their bandwagon in this season-ending AFC East showdown. The Dolphins can't take anything for granted however. The last meeting with the Jets was a close affair and the Dolphins were made to work hard for the 16-13 win. The Dolphins should win this clash, but that doesn't mean they will. In fact, we won't be surprised if the Jets pull off the upset on the NFL betting floor.

NFL Picks: Jets -190

Panthers +170 vs. Falcons -200
This game cuts fine, finer than the NFL odds would suggest. It's a pivotal showdown in the ultimate round of the regular season where the winner takes all.  The NFC South title on the line so, and an ensuing spot in the playoffs, it's anybody's guess which side wins. Both teams boast losing records on the season, wholly inconsistent from game to game. Panthers, however, are riding a three-game winning streak. They have form right now, which could be deciding. Falcons, though, are dangerous floaters and when their offense lights up they can torch an opponent. If Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have the sort of game that saw them put up 37 points at Lambeau a few weeks ago in 43-37 loss, they could run away with this game against a suspect Panthers defense.

NFL Picks: Falcons -200

Bears +260 vs. Vikings -320
The Bears and Vikings collide in an NFC showdown with no playoff implications. The Bears are riding a four-game losing streak, which includes three losses with Jay Cutler and one with Jimmy Clausen last weekend. Jay Cutlers is slated to start once again after Clausen's stint as starting quarterback was cut short with a concussion. Teddy Bridgewater and the Vikings succumbed to a heartbreaking defeat in Miami in week 16 NFL betting. In spite of the loss, the Vikings showed a lot of heart and fight, which is more than can be said of the Bears. Look for the Vikings to close the season on a win against the Bears.

NFL Picks: Vikings -320

Chargers +120 vs. Chiefs -140
Another key divisional battle features on the NFL betting board when the Chargers and Chiefs collide. Chargers kept hope alive with a come-from behind win in San Francisco, erasing a 21-point deficit to take the 38-35 overtime win. Chiefs succumbed to a disappointing 20-12 loss in Pittsburgh in week 16. Something is going to have to give between these two sides when they collide in the ultimate regular season battle. Chiefs have home edge and that makes them the favourites, but with four losses in their last five games they don't cut a convincing figure on the NFL odds board. That said they won four of their last five at home since a week 6 bye; the only home defeat coming to the Denver Broncos. Arrowhead is one of the toughest places to win in the NFL. That should make the Chiefs ripe for the picking by NFL bettors.

NFL Picks: Chiefs -140

Eagles +125 vs. Giants -145
There is value on both sides of the coin in this clash between NFC East rivals set to sit out the playoffs. Giants have picked up form of late, winning three in a row. They have a shot to win out the season with four straight wins when they host the Philadelphia Eagles, coming off a loss to the Washington Potato-Skins....er, Redskins. Eli Manning is playing freely and if he continues on his stellar form he should be able to lead the Giants to victory over the Eagles that just had their playoff hopes cruelly snuffed.

NFL Picks: Giants -145

Cowboys vs. Redskins
After the demolition of the Colts, does anybody want to bet against the Cowboys. Keep in mind, they are a perfect 7-0 SU on the road, looking to wrap up the season with a perfect 8-0 on the season. Redskins are after a win over the Philadelphia Eagles, their first win behind RGIII. But it's one thing to beat the Eagles at home another to beat the hot Cowboys on the road. Take the Cowboys to close the season with a perfect 8-0 SU record on the road on your NFL betting ticket.

NFL Picks: Cowboys

Saints -200 vs. Bucs +170
Is the game the Tampa Bay Buccaneers finally win to snap a winless record at home in seven attempts. Call us wildly optimistic but we sort of think so. Simply put: Saints have imploded. Their season is done and done, after a lacklustre 30-14 loss to the Falcons in week 16 NFL betting. With emotions still raw and the disappointment keen, it's hard to see them mustering up much effort for a game that is essentially meaningless.

NFL Picks: Bucs +170

Rams vs. Seahawks
With the Seahawks rounding out on form behind five straight wins to reclaim top spot in the NFC West, they look unstoppable, if not frightening. Rams may have shocked the Seahawks earlier this season and sent seismic shockwaves through sportsbook platforms. It's hard to see them accomplishing the feat on the road this time, when the Seahawks are pushing in earnest down the stretch and towards the No.1 seed in the playoffs. Take the Seahawks on your NFL picks.

NFL Picks: Seahawks

Cardinals +215 vs. Niners -255
Cardinals are faced with a must-win game if they hope to win the NFC West title. They also need a bit of help from the Rams upsetting the Seattle Seahawks, but that is out of their hands. All they can do is hope to clinch the important "W" at the expense of the Niners. The NFL odds are stacked against the Cardinals, however, as they are down to fourth string quarterback Logan Thomas after Ryan Lindley's poor effort against the Seahawks in the penultimate round of the NFL season. That void at quarterback all of a sudden doesn't bode well, even against a Niners side that is out of the playoffs and has nothing but pride left to play for this season.

NFL Picks: Niners -215

Raiders vs. Broncos
The Broncos are 7-0 SU at home this season, 16-1 SU at Mile High since 2013. Raiders are 0-7 SU on the road this season, 1-14 SU since 2013 on the road. Need one say more? Irrespective of last week's results, look for the Broncos to come out on top of the Raiders in a convincing win.

NFL Picks: Broncos
